Aurelia's Point of View
I knew something was wrong the moment I stepped into the pack house. The Betas' and Gammas' uncomfortable stares made me realize that, but the happiness in me at the three words "You are pregnant." The pack doctor had said earlier, didn't let me care about what was wrong as I dashed into Alpha Aiden's room to break the good news. But the sight I met, made rage boil in me. I wanted to scream, my mouth was opened, but no sound escaped my lips. "No." It was the only word I could mutter, I didn't want to believe what I was seeing. "Aiden?" I called in a trembling voice as he stopped moaning, turning to stare at me, his eyes held no remorse but rage as he pulled out of the lady beneath him. I raised my hands to my face, rubbing my eyes. "What are you doing here Lia?" he shouted, his voice laced with venom. "I told you, you couldn't show up here unless I sent for you. If you had just listened, you wouldn't have seen this." He didn't even bother to hide his erection as he hissed, wearing his underpants, was that how little he thought of me? How could his manhood still be aroused? My gaze went to the lady on the bed, as a gasp escaped my lips. It was my twin sister. "Tania, how could you?" I whispered, still rooted to the spot. I wanted to wake up from this dream, this wasn't happening. The excitement from the news disappeared. How could they be doing this? When the preparation for my Luna's Coronation was ongoing. My body was consumed with heat at the immoral sight before me as I felt the bile rise in my throat, I was going to throw up. I barely made it to the toilet as the contents of my stomach came rushing up. "I told you he doesn't love us and just used our blood to heal her." My wolf Xena screamed. I could feel her anger, as guilt ate me up. If only I had listened. I stared at the scars on my hand where Aiden had cut to feed my sister because we shared the same blood. "Tania is pregnant with my child." He announced without looking at me as he sat by the vanity. "Tomorrow, she will be crowned my Luna." He broke the news to me while I shuddered, I was at a loss for words, I was so blind not to have noticed what was going on, he was always in her room, and the thought of him having sex with her unconscious body sent chills down my spine. All this while I was tricked, I had been giving 2 liters of my blood every week to my sister after her accident, with the hope of getting married to Aiden, my mate. I did everything he asked me to do, I was his toy and he was busy trying to revive my sister. If only I had listened to Xena. "Sister, aren't you happy for me?" She was back to being her manipulative self. Tania only called me sister in Aiden's presence. She had woken up a month ago and since then everything about Aiden changed. He hardly wanted me around. He claimed that he didn't want to tell her about us because she was still recovering and my naive self believed. "I..., Aiden, can I speak with you for a moment?" But Tania immediately responded. "I will just leave if I'm interrupting you guys. Aiden please mind how you speak to my sister, she looks pale." I knew what she was trying to do, make herself look perfect as she hesitated to leave the bed. "No Barbie, you are not interrupting." He kissed her as he spoke. My inners screamed at the name he called her. That name was mine, growing up Aiden and I were inseparable, but when he fell and lost his memories, his parents made him believe it was Tania he had loved all this while because I was just a weak omega and she a powerful beta. I couldn't bear it anymore. "I'm pregnant and you are the father." I suddenly blurted with closed eyes. This was the first time I was brave enough to speak boldly as the room fell silent, but Aiden's words paralyzed me. "It can't be my baby." He tossed the pregnancy results on the floor and used his Alpha powers to bring me to my knees. How could he say that? He was the only man I had been with all my life. “I can't make you pregnant unless you have my mark and I haven't marked you, Aurelia." I felt the world coming to an end with a loud bang on my head. He hadn't marked me, so he lied? Then who was responsible for this child in me? "Tania alone has my mark, and she is carrying my child." "You should know by now I never loved you, I have never seen anyone as stupid as you, I knew you were evil and wouldn't save your sister, so the only way to make you do it was to promise to marry your desperate ass, it's so low brow to think I would settle for a pathetic omega like you with no wolf." He added as Xena growled within me. I immediately put an invisible block between us, because she might transform and attack the Alpha. My wolf was hidden, no one apart from my grandparents knew I had a wolf and they advised it was best I left her hidden otherwise, I would be in danger. Though I didn't understand them, I had to listen and my wolf Xena was hidden. “But I'm your mate, this baby is yours,” I yelled in anger. “Then I reject you.” He acted like rejection was a child's play. If he doesn't make me his Luna, no man would be in a relationship with me, a rejected mate of the Alpha. “I'm giving you today to get rid of that thing in you or lose your life.” He said, releasing me from his power grip as I fell to the floor, I was already sore. “Sister, can I feed on your blood, I'm yet to fully recover,” Tania begged, not giving me the chance to recover from Aiden's outburst. I didn't have an option to reject her plea as Aiden grabbed a knife and pulled me towards her. I tried breaking free, but he slapped me before cutting my skin. I yelled, hot tears left my eyes as she sucked my blood, biting me badly. "That's enough," I begged after she had fed for 20 minutes as I struggled to break free from her grip. "I'm sorry, I didn't know you were hurting." She lied, staring at me as Aiden patted her hair. I wanted to lash out, make them feel even a fraction of the pain tearing me apart, but I couldn't, they had the upper hand, and as a weak omega, I couldn't do anything. It would take 2 hours before I could heal as I lay on the floor, trying to catch my breath. “Leave and get rid of that child in you.” His voice was distant, I was weak and slipping in and out of consciousness. “I think we should call the doctor.” Tania was acting like she cared once again. “That is a good idea, if she dies it would be difficult to find blood that would match yours.” I would rather be a rogue than get used by them again. I swore in my heart as they spoke. A doctor soon arrived and without a word scooped me up. “Make sure you get rid of that child in her womb,” Aiden ordered, as I was taken out. “Please save my baby,” I whispered, forcing my eyes open to meet a warm blend of green and brown eyes staring at me. He wasn't the pack doctor, and his scent was different, unique in a way and soothing to me. His hazel eyes were fixed on mine with a confused look on his face when he muttered. “Mate?”Aurelia's Point of View I filed my nails as I stared at the dull gray colored wall, wondering when Brooks would be back. It was exactly two weeks he brought me to this dreary house. I haven't heard from my family, not like they cared, I have always been a burden they have been wanting to get rid of. Brooks was hardly ever home. An old friend had given him this house before he passed. The few days I spent here were like a monotonous cycle. I would wake up, stare at the blank walls, and try to occupy my time however I could. My recovery process was fast, I had taken in two stray dogs lost in the woods. Sometimes I'd flip through the few channels on the ancient television set, but there was never anything worth watching. Suddenly, I heard the sound of a key turning in the lock. My heart raced as the door swung open, and he walked in, carrying several plastic bags. "You are back," I said with a trembling voice. He ignored me and set the bags down on the coffee table. "I b
Aurelia's Point of View I felt sore as my eyes slowly fluttered open. Confusion filled me when I looked around the unfamiliar room. I tried to remember how I ended up here but the migraine increased. I located the switch as it flickered on. Looking around, I spotted my naked figure in the mirror, I immediately grabbed the duvet and pulled it tightly around me. I tried to leave the bed only to feel a sharp pain shoot between my legs. I couldn't help the gasp that escaped my lips. "Tania," I yelled in anger, as I grabbed my phone from my bag. "Hello sis, guess you enjoyed your gift." Her voice rang out at the other end of the phone. "I promise, I'd kill you." I cursed as she snickered. "You enjoyed it, you know what happens when you have sex without a proper rejection ceremony and the Alpha is yet to let go of you.” "I swear, you..." I tried saying as she dropped the call. I knew I was in trouble, this was a setup, I wasn't supposed to be with another man unless
Aurelia's Point of View I woke up to the sterile smell of antiseptic and the soft beeping of medical equipment. The harsh white light of the hospital room made me squint. “Where are we?” Xena growled as I sat up, the past incident rushing to me. “My baby.” I placed my hands on my stomach looking around, hoping the pack doctor would walk in soon. “When will you stop blocking me out? I'm tired of being left in the dark.” Xena linked me, but I was doing it for our good as I apologized to her. The door opened as a tall man in a white coat walked towards the foot of my bed. “Who are you?” I whispered with a dry throat. He wasn't the pack doctor I knew and there was something strange about the place. “I’m the pack doctor, your vitals are okay, but you need to rest at least for a week.” I swallowed hard saliva as he spoke. “How are you? I noticed something different about your blood and…” "I'm... I'm okay, I think," I interrupted, as I croaked out, I didn't want to talk about my
