ASSAULTED CHAPTER THIRTY FOUR
~DAVID~"David!" I jerked up at the sound of my name. "What the–" I stuttered with wide eyes as I scanned the room for the intruder. No one was even in there with me. "Wake up! Elizabeth says breakfast is ready," Beauty said. Then I realized she was the one that yelled my name before I woke up. Hissing, I got out of bed. The thought of actually taking a bath or brushing my teeth before leaving my room crossed my mind but I shrugged it off. But then I remembered that Elizabeth was just downstairs and she definitely was not ready to see the careless and dirty side of me. So I concluded on brushing my teeth. It was better than nothing. ....Sluggishly, I walked out of the room to find my sister and scold her for yelling too loud. My head hurt from her scream and I could have sworn that I hit it on the bed frame. My scheme and plan for my sister's dismay vanished when the aroma of something cooking met with my nose. It felt like heaven and I was going to exaggerate however I wanted.

"Elizabeth, can I come in?" David was right outside and I was going through his stuffs without permission. Hurriedly I shoved everything right back into the drawer and scurried around the room looking for a more suitable position for him not to suspect. ~DAVID~Her voice was nonchalant and quiet as she spoke, she held no emotions in her eyes and I knew instantly that she was mad in her own world at me. I managed to shove Becca away from me and grabbed the cup of coffee that finally reached me. ~Elizabeth~ He was just downstairs, patiently waiting for me to get ready. I was ready—not really. My dress and make up was perfect and on point but mentally, I was no where near ready for the date. ~Elizabeth~"David get up. We are already late," I pouted trying harder to pull him up from the couch. "Is there no way I can change your mind?" He insisted to be settled on the chair, pretending to be interested in the series playing on the television. "We promised to go," I argued with him. "I know. But I've been to the party before and it never ends well," he looked at me for a moment but then turned back to the television. "Fine then, I'll drive myself there," I finalized. David warned me, but as usual I almost never listened. The party sucked. Every other party I had been to was organized and mostly with less noise. This place was someone's house crowded by more humans than the place could contain and the music was so loud I felt my ears drums were going to pop out. Nothing they did here was moral, they drank and were mostly drunk, danced like whores and some of them made out at almost ever corner. It was like a typical teenage party only this time adults all over town attended it and behaved irrationally. Worst part is, I got separated from David since I came here. We had been here for almost an hour and he was nowhere to be found. It bothered me and I did try to look for him but I decided to stay put when some guys–men began to ask me to join them on the dance floor. It had just been two days since I arrived from the hospital, they both made sure I stayed in the room to rest and according to David, his lawyer was handling Becca.
