CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT

Was it something I said? Or didn't say?

I watched her walk away from us slowly. My head began to think of anything I might have said that made her upset. But I didn't say or do anything. The argument we had earlier was a peaceful one, it was something to laugh and be happy about. She told me she loved me, it was the best thing I heard so far.

"I'll go talk to her." I volunteered as I also left the dinning table too.

I walked briskly to the door, my head still trying to think of what to tell or ask her. She was upset, I knew that, what I didn't know was at who and why?

Shaking off my thoughts, I twisted the door knob and opened it. She was standing on the porch, staring blankly at nothing, almost like she was deep in her thoughts.

"Elizabeth." I called out and she jerked up in fear making me frown.

"Oh." She said when she figured it was just me.

"Is something wrong?" I asked, taking steps towards her till we were standing opposite each other.

"No, it's just..." she trailed off

Why are some of the chapters repeated? I shouldn't have to pay for repeated chapters. Author, this book needs to be proofread. Thank you
