CHAPTER TWENTY NINE

I shuffled around my bed for the umpteenth time, trying to reach for the alarm clock again to press the snooze button. Just when I thought I had reached it, I fell hard to the ground and my body made a thud sound. "Ouch." I pouted lowly as pain jolted in. I stared up at the table clock and then fell backwards to the ground when I realized how late I was. Although I immediately regretted my decision to fall back as the back of my head began to hurt badly. With a loud sigh, I reluctantly got up from the ground and walked towards my bathroom.

I shivered as goosebumps covered my skin when the cold water hit me. Letting out a shaky breath, I allowed myself adjust to the water. The ache did not stop banging at the back of my head and even water did not seem to cool it off. The thought of having to go back to work and sit in the almost enclosed room just made my body weak. That was not as worse as having people stare at me all because of the video that already went viral.
