CHAPTER TWENTY SEVEN

"Mum." I breathed out with slightly dropped jaw. She was standing there, right in front of me, with a bright smile on her face.

I choked on my own breath, the fear I once felt got mixed up with weird feelings, that seemed like joy but more. Tears stung my eyes at the view. She looked happy, she was standing straight and didn't look like she was even sick.

"My baby." She said after I didn't say anything anymore. Her arms spreaded out for a hug and without double thinking, I fell into them. Crying out more.

It felt real, it was not another dream and even if it were, I did not want to wake up. "Mum." I said again, my voice cracking as I hugged tighter.

"I can't breath well." I heard her say as she patted my back. Reluctantly, I let her go, only to have to stare at her face again. She didn't change, it had been three months since I last saw her.
