"Shush, baby, it's fine Missus. You're safe. I'm here. I'm here." Claus' soft voice was the last thing I heard before everything finally went dark. I don't know how many hours I slept, but when I woke up, my whole body was so painful that it was as if I had been beaten over and over again.
