“That’s right, but he is not targeting you or your business ventures, Natha. Heaven’s Blessings also has a branch in the southern California, remember? And last year, you started an AI venture with New Horizon Technology. You won that bid, and for your information, Hawthorne Technology was one of other bidders for that project,” he reminded me, still pressing the fact that Jonathan Hawthorne is behind them, not me.

I nodded while taking a deep breath. He is right.

Hawthorne Empire also had business venture in both AI technology and Jewellery design. We crossed paths a few times during bidding for a few projects, but I didn’t remember facing any hurdle from the Hawthornes.
