It was Alec and Ethan sport day and both of then worn. Amelia baked a chocolate cake with fruit jelly. It may sound weird or unappetizing to others, but it was based on Alec and Ethan favorite candy. She was never allowed to call their friends to the small party, it was her aunt rule 'no more children in my apartment'. Amelia couldn't go against her and risk that it will backfire.

So, she did the same thing as every previous year, tried her best to replace their father and their friends, smiling brightly and throwing a best party just for the three of them to fill out the void.

They played games and did everything her pup's desired. But Amelia was able to catch the expecting gaze that they were throwing at the door, like they were expecting someone to show up. Amelia knows that one day, she is going to run out of excuses.

Amelia took a thousand of pictures of Ethan and Alex and the three of them together. Now, they were munching together on the cake, her pup's choosing the slice with
