"Here you go, Miss Clandestine."

Anna received the packaged watch from the sales clerk, an older woman who smiled kindly at her. "He's a lucky guy."

Anna snorted. "Yeah, he is. He has me, and I just busted my ass to get him a Hublot. He is damned lucky."

The sales clerk laughed at the young woman's assertiveness.

Anna was quite beautiful. Brilliant red hair was curled in beautiful layers, radiating different shades ranging from brown to red. Her eyes were hazel and they popped with an eyeliner rimmed around it. A splatter of freckles stained her nose giving her a cute, innocent look until she opened her mouth.

Tossing a grin at the saleswoman, she strutted out of the shop, adjusting her short black dress as she walked to the bus stop. Despite her bold words, her stomach fluttered inside at the thought of seeing Karl. She hoped he liked his birthday gift; she had spent a large quarter of her savings that year on the watch and the hot-as-hell lingerie that was hidden underneath her.

As she climbed onto the bus, she whipped out her phone to call him. She hadn't informed him before of her visit, but now that she was mere metres away from his home, she found herself feeling rather eager to see him.

Despite her gorgeous look, Anna had been a rather traditional girl. Over the years, she kept herself for marriage. But Carl was something unexpected. And Anna wanted to give him her best.

She pressed her lips in a pout when he didn't pick up the call and tossed the device in her bag. He was probably busy or some shit like that.

Her phone rang and for a minute she had the delusion that Karl had called back, only to see her sister's name flash across the screen.

"Sophie?"

Sophie was her stepsister, the eldest daughter of the family. Ever since her mother married Sophie's father, the other lady had done nothing but showed her hatred. Once in a blue moon, like today, the lady always called to either check on her, or get her into trouble.

It was like a pattern that they were used to. Instead, Anna always made sure that she steered clear of her sister as much as it was possible.

Anna heard her tsk as if tired of her antics. "Want to hit the club later?" She finally asked.

"Aww, no. I don't think I can make it,"

"Why?" Her sister drawled.

"Today's Karl's birthday. I kind of have a lot planned for him–"

"Just stop right there," Sophie said dryly. "I get it. You have a life, and I don't."

Anna's jaw dropped. "Sophie, that wasn't what I said." She defended, but it fell on deaf ears because her sister had ended the call. She stared at the device in her hands and shrugged. They would make up later. It had been a constant pattern growing up. When her mom married Sophie's dad years ago, Sophie had dedicated her life to making Anna miserable, but over time, she changed. And their relationship seemed to have gotten better ever since.

A few minutes later, Anna found herself unlocking the door to his house, a nice home in the suburbs.

"Ka...." Anna's voice trailed off at the sight before her.

Karl was rutting on another woman like some pig against the wall. The woman screamed as he pounded her fiercely and threw her head back.

"I thought… fuck… I thought you were going to spend today with… yesss… that woman…" The woman managed to let out amid her moans.

"Who?" Karl asked. He slammed into the ass of the woman a few more times before he continued. "Anna? Never mind that dull girl. All I'm doing with her is just staying until she can give me her virginity!" He said with a loud hiss.

If the ground would open up and swallow her, Anna would gladly let it do that. She took a step back out of shock.

Not only was her boyfriend banging a woman, but he was also mocking her behind her back?

"She's fucking boring. Who wants to spend time with someone like her if it wasn't for the occasional money and her V," Karl added.

She made to leave, but her legs refused to move. She looked up and saw the woman her boyfriend was rutting meet her eyes. The shock she felt was evident.

"Karl... Karl ... Wait a minute–" The bitch mumbled, trying to stop the man behind her.

"Haha, can't take it anymore, can you? I told you I'd have you flat up."

"Karl!" The woman yelled and pointed at Anna who moved towards them with a murderous look on her face. "Look, you idiot!"

It was then Karl looked back. His face went white, and he sprang away from his newfound candy quickly, backing away with his hands up in the air.

"Yo, back off!" He yelled.

Anna stopped in her tracks, her heartbeat roaring in her ears as she stared at the man she had trusted in. "Back off?" She said with a ludicrous look on her face. "Fuck, no. Continue, will you? I was enjoying the show."

Karl chuckled dryly, his brown eyes filled with jeer and mockery. "There's no need trying to swallow all that hurt in, Ann. Look, that thing we had, it was just a bet. My boys didn't think I could score a banging woman like you, and I did and now I'm fifty grand richer. But you boring as shit–"

He was cut off by a slam to his nose. Anna watched in sickening satisfaction the pain that flared up on his face when she slammed the watch to his nose. The grown-ass man doubled over, howling like a dog in birth pains.

"My nose!"

His whore, the woman he cheated on her with, ran to his side, and Anna laughed dryly, fighting the tears that threatened to spill. She would not shed tears over an idiot and a loafer like him. Never.

"You suit each other," she taunted. "A dog and his bitch. I am so fucking glad I'm out of this hell hole. He's all yours."

And with her words hanging in the air, she sauntered out of the house. Still fighting off the tears, she called the one person she was sure would give her comfort.

"Sophie!" Anna yelled when her sister finally picked up the call. "I am finally fucking free! How about that club offer?"

Sophie Clandestine walked through the throng of dancing people in the club, keeping an eye on her sister who screamed like a banshee, gyrating to the loud music. Anna was drunk as hell.

With a small smile playing on her lips, she turned away and walked even further until she was out of the dance floor. She slipped out of the club then and walked to the back where four men stood beside a shady black van. They were all covered in leather jackets and each held a cigar between their fingers.

Wordlessly, she reached into her purse and handed them a picture of Anna.

One of the men collected it and whistled. "Our package is looking mighty fine as hell."

"Aww, fuck. Yeah, she is. Think we can have some fun before we sell her off?" Another replied.

"Sure we can. I'd love to see what those fuck me lips can do–"

"Hey!" Sophie spat, shaking angrily. "Do whatever the fuck you want later. Just pay me my money, you bastards."

Anna might have thought of her sister as a family member, but to Sophie, Anna was just a pain in the ass. Sophie recently borrowed a lot of money from this guy and when she couldn't pay it, she thought of selling Anna.

While her sister haggled over her life outside, Anna, shit-faced and drunk as hell, tried to navigate her way back to the counter stool. She had grown tired of dancing and needed to sit or she would puke her guts out. However, when she got to the stool she had sat on when she arrived, there was someone else on it.

And good Lord, he was fucking gorgeous.

Her breath caught as she took him in. His hair, black thick strands, was tousled on his head, a few strands almost falling over his face. And his face... Damn, he was a work of art. His face was chiseled, green eyes staring at her broodingly in a way that made her panties moisten in desire. He was dressed casually in a white plain tee and black pants, and yet he was easily the most stunning man she had ever seen.

"Has..." She slurred, reaching out to brush his arm. "Has anyone ever told you, you look so fucking edible, sir?"
