Before my parents disappeared, they told me the story of how they believe the war began. It wasn’t a pretty story; in fact, it was downright the most jacked up romance story I had ever heard. The reason it’s so uncommon is because if one drop of vamp blood enters the werewolves body said wolf is instantly dead. This is the same for vamps, one drop and they die. LILY'S POVAfter my failed attempt at stealing from the royal wolves I thought it’d be best to move on. They could be looking for me right now, and I wasn’t about to run the risk of being captured. As soon as I had started to get comfortable in one place, I was forced to move again. Reluctantly, I left my cozy little cottage and soon found myself aimlessly wandering around a forest. The whole place was deserted, not one other living creature was in sight. It reminded me of how destroyed the entire continent is, and more than likely the whole planet. I had covered a good amount ground over my traveling years, but had yet to make too far. It used to be beautiful, with miles of bright green grass, a variety of gorgeous flowers, and a ton of big healthy trees. PRINCE ANDY POV While Lily was passed out in my room I figured I should use the time wisely and do some solid consideration to my circumstances at the moment. I knew the moment Lily woke up that I would be in for it. I had thought that I wanted to keep going with my life the way it was, but now that I've been around her for a decent amount of time I don't think I can let her go. Watching that vampire about to attack had knocked a little sense into me. I couldn't risk her leaving and getting injured. I needed her. She was a necessary to my existence as the air that I breathe. It was that thought that finally pulled me out of my stubborn streak and brought me to my decision. The one that I should have been able to make without all this back and forth and debating. I'm going to embrace the mate bond, and pray that I can make this work. I think we both could use some body that is a stable and caring person in our lives. After hearing her story I felt really bad for my fiery, little mate.
