"Is this necessary?" I whined as Ashley kept pulling my hair, trying to style it. She kept nagging me to go clubbing with her and I was not interested at all. I was worried about my baby. Even though Liam and Anna were babysitting him and Jane, I wasn't convinced. He was just two months old and I was worried sick already.

"Of course it is, we need a break from all this stress and responsibilities," she reasoned and continued to work on my hair.

"But Ethan?" I started and she interrupted me.

"For the millionth time, Ethan will be fine, Emma." She rolled her eyes and I pouted, "I'm leaving Jane with them too, we can worry together later," she joked and I shook my head with a small smile, knowing how stubborn she could be.

"Alright, I hope Austin comes home soon. He said he will be working late today. Of all days, today," I huffed in annoyance, adjusting my makeup. Even though I was excited to go out and have fun with Ash, there was a tiny bit of worry, deep down.
