Chapter 38: Quenched

Liam took care of Davi for two days, not even leaving the hospital. All his work was brought there, and Alexis had to be the one commuting between the company and the hospital.

Just before Reynolds went home, Liam gave him his gratitude and introduced himself as his alpha. Of course, this is not yet true, but to Liam, it will soon be a reality. He had great confidence that he would have Davi’s love.

Reynold wanted to ask for clarification, but he stopped himself from doing so as he felt like he was intruding on his private life. Instead, he asked Liam to tell Davi to contact him if he had already been discharged and to ensure that he would take care of Davi seriously this time.

Liam did not refute him; he admitted he had been lax in protecting Davi. He did not anticipate such a dirty move from Niel. If Davi was put to life and death again under his watch, then he did not deserve Davi at all.
