What Great?" Daisy answered back in a confused tone.
Nicolas was delivering his dialogues, standing in front of the artificial balcony.Daisy’s acting indeed improved from her first day on the stage. So, when Nicolas noticed that Daisy’s romantic expression suddenly changed into a worried one as if she was thinking something or she was in trouble. Nicolas knew that Daisy was the first learner and she couldn't make such a mistake. So, Nicolas easily understood that there was any
When Daisy disconnected the phone, the bright screen of the phone showed that they talked for one hour and twelve minutes. Daisy’s mood lightened up after talking with Helen for so long. It was like she felt way more relaxed talking with Helen.Rest of the evening, she spent studying. It was almost 11.30 pm when she finished her chapter. While yawning tiredly, she headed towards her bed, after taking her shower and changing into her night
The crowd gathered due to Ruth’s shouting. When Ruth left with Nicolas, the crowd also started to disappear. Daisy was also standing with the crowd staring at the exit. When Nicolas left with Ruth, she only sighed in tiredness. She was indeed tired after such a long day, so she decided to call a cab as soon as possible. Though she knew it was an emergency and Ruth was Nicolas’s childhood friend, might be way closer than her but there were a faint pain and disappointment, lingering inside her mind. A part of her was not ready to admit all those logics and facts as if it was demanding for something else. All those kinds of feelings were new for Daisy.
Daisy was hesitating at first but then she realized Lucas was not telling wrong. She had to wait a long to get a cab from that area. So she silently followed him. Lucas used to drive his bike as fast as Nicolas sometimes but not all the time. It was a busy road so he was normally driving at an average speed while talking with Daisy.
Lara dragged out a glass bottle of medicine from her handbag. Sparing a little smirk at Kaz, she winked at him. Then without wasting any more time she started walking towards the nearby break table which was specially set for the students and guests, they could get a few kinds of drinks there to quench their thirst. Lara asked the volunteer specially appointed to manage that table, “Give me 6 glasses of orange juice.” The boy nodded positively. Within a few minutes, he placed a tray with six glasses of fresh orange juice and then went to attend other students.
There were three judges among them two men and one woman. They were all of middle-aged. It was Helen who described the first part of the project. She started describing as smoothly as she did the previous day. Her explanation was to the point and in lucid language, very easily understandable. Her explanation impressed all three of them. When she ended the first part, they only asked two or three questions, then slightly nodding their head, they signed that their questions were finished. Then looking at Daisy, one of the judges asked, “Now you can start the second part.”
Daisy and Helen immediately sat on their chair, straightening their back. They knew that the way they finished their presentation, it was hard for them to expect any position from the judges ultimately. Yet there was a slight hope, lingering on their minds. Lucas left instantly after the announcement. He had some stuff to look after. All the students’ eyes were fixed on the judges. They started announcing the winners from the rank t
Daisy asked in a confused tone, “But, Helen booked an online cab. How can I go like this without her?"“Because she will cancel the booking now. Don’t worry. She is returning home with Jason. So I guess you don’t have to worry about her. Can we leave now?” Nicolas asked, signing towards his bike. Daisy spared a glance at Helen who was talking with Jason excitedly. The bright smile on her face was reflecting her hap
