Daisy started feeling the hot breath of Nicolas against her soft delicate cheeks. Daisy was trying to look away but it seemed like impossible to her. Nicolas' lips were only an inch away from Daisy's when suddenly the song ended and all started whistling and shouting for Nicolas. Daisy immediately stepped back, pushing Nicolas little away. She started extremely awkward when she realized that everybody was actually watching their dance. She was a shy girl, that sudden unexpected attention scared her badly.
Nicolas murmured, near Daisy's ear, while dragging her to the bar counter, "It's alright, little girl. Why are you so nervous? It is just a dance." Daisy only nodded her head in response.
After a little pause, Nicolas continued, "You are amazing dancer, I have to say. I just love it." "Thanks Nick. The feeling is quite mutual," Daisy replied slyly, without looking at him.
Nicolas declared in his croaked voice, "Don't worry partner. We are going to share the stage again. Now, will you give me a chance to treat you with a drink?"
"Yeah, why not. But you have to choose. I have never drunk before," Daisy replied.
"Then you shouldn't drink alcohol. I will order the best mocktail for you," replied Nicolas.
But suddenly his phone started ringing. He continued in an apologetic tone, "Give me a moment. I will be back soon. You enjoy your drink. Ok?"
Daisy nodded her head and immediately Nicolas left the bar counter. Helen was following two of them silently. The moment she saw Nicolas left, she jumped on the empty seat next to Daisy, scaring Daisy out of her wits.
Daisy exclaimed in wonder, "Helen, What are you doing? Are you planning to give me a heart attack?"
Rolling her eyes, Helen replied excitedly, "Shut up sweetie. It is you who are breaking numorous hearts. So, Nicolas is the cause of your day dreaming. Now I got it why you were rejecting Lucas."
Daisy immediately denied, "No, no nothing like that. We are just friends."
"Yeah. Everyone has already seen how good friend you two are," with a mischievous smile, replied Helen.
When Helen and Daisy were chatting, Lucas sat on the empty seat, next to Daisy on the other side and clearing his throat, interrupted in his deep voice, "You really dance awesome."
Daisy looked at him with a sly smile and replied, "Thank you, Lucas." Daisy was slowly sipping her drink when Lucas spoke again, "Can I ask you something?"
"Yes, go on," Daisy replied immediately. Lucas replied after a little hesitation, "Do you like Nick?"
"No. Actually nothing like that. It is only two days, I have met him. Why?" asked Daisy curiously. Daisy wanted to know what Lucas was trying to say. Helen was also listening their conversation silently.
Lucas explained, "Look Daisy, Nick is not good for you. He loves to toy with girls and may be he is now trying to trap you with his sweet talks. So don't fall in his trap."
Daisy looked at Lucas with disbelief in her eyes. She knew Nicolas for more than four months and she never felt, he would her or play with her. So, Daisy replied nonchalantly, "Why are you telling me? Nicolas and I are not that close at all."
Lucas replied, "I am just warning you before you become close. Now rest is your choice. You can better ask your friend, Helen. She also knows about Nicolas."
Lucas left without giving Daisy any chance to reply any more. Lucas was not sure about his action. He didn't know himself whether he was trying to save Daisy or trying to snatch her from Nick as he also noticed Nick's special attention towards Daisy which couldn't be misunderstood as flirting.
Daisy on the other side, sat dumbfounded. She felt a turmoil of emotions inside her. Though she knew Nick was just a friend but Lucas' words pinned like sharp knife. She felt a sudden pain in her heart, a feeling of betrayal.
Though she suppressed those unwanted feelings swiftly and looking at Helen asked, "What do you think Helen? Was Lucas telling the truth?"
Helen replied instantly with a honest expression in her face, "Listen, Nick is famous among girls and girls love to throw themselves on him. Unlike Lucas, Nick loves to flirt and play with girls. But it doesn't mean, he will do the same with you and to be honest, I have never seen Nick, flirting with you still now. Nick shows his care and friendship towards you. So don't mind Lucas' words Daisy. Just go with the flow."
Daisy murmured, "Yeah, you are right. I shouldn't mind. Moreover he is just a friend." Her words sounded as if she was trying to console herself.
Nicolas got a call from his mother. He was the one and only son of Christopher Walker. So he had always lived a careless life. His parents had no time to give him from his childhood as they were really busy in improving their status so his granny was his only guardian. But after his Granny's death, he became more lonely and careless, like a spoil child. Though his father had given him everything but Nicolas couldn't able to connect with them ever. Nicolas' mother called him to inform that they were leaving for France for next one month. After talking with his mom, Nicolas sighed in disappointment. But then he curved his usual charming smile on his face and entered inside the house again.
He saw Sophia and Ava were standing next to the door of the hall. The moment Sophia saw Nicolas her grey eyes lit up, playing with one of the strands of her black hair, she reached to Nicolas and without any warning, hugged him. Sophia murmured in a seductive tone while tightening her hugs, "Nick darling, don't you miss me? Why don't you call me nowadays?"
Daisy and Helen were feeling little awkward after such a serious discussion so they decided to get some fresh air. They started walking towards exit but the moment they came out from the hall, they saw a couple and the girl was hugging the boy very intimately while saying something in a seductive tone. The moment Daisy saw the boy, she recognized him. It was none other than Nicolas. In spite of going outside, she again walked to the bar, leaving Helen behind and instantly ordered for a shot.
Nicolas set himself free from her grip after a little struggle and replied in his croaked voice, "Sophia, are you crazy? Why are you behaving like a lunatic?"
Then without sparing any glance at Sophia, he headed inside the hall.
Helen ran behind Daisy but when she reached to her, she saw Daisy already gulped down two glasses of tequila. Helen was struck by the crowd on the dance floor so she couldn't follow Daisy instantly. Helen asked Daisy with concern, "Dear, slow down. You will not be able to tolerate this much. What has happened Daisy?"Daisy replied with a wobbly tone, " Ugh! nothing. I feel like I should try alcohol today." Helen was stunned, seeing such an attitude of Daisy. Daisy on one hand herself didn't know why she was behaving like that. She was feeling betrayed, disappointed and heartbroken, seeing Nick hugging another girl, on the other hand, she was trying to understand why she was feeling so sad when Nick was just a friend of her. The warm liquid burnt her throat but it affected her mind more brutally as the feeling of disappointment and betrayal started increasing, suppressing her logical side. Without noticing, she already gulped down three more glasses.Helen ask
Gritting his teeth angrily, Lucas murmured, "When has she given you the permission to talk on behalf of her? Or are you targeting Daisy too? A playboy like you is judging me??"Nicolas immediately yelled, "Shut up, Lucas. Don't talk rubbish. You don't know anything about us. How dare u blame me?"Nicolas furiously started taking small steps towards Lucas. Lucas also did the same and replied, "Nick, better you step back. She has invited me to herself. Mind your own business and don't interrupt us."Nicolas demanded while tightening his grip around Daisy's wrist, "You are in such a pathetic condition that now you are trying to take advantage of a drunk girl!" Then after a little pause, he continued, "No I will not step back without her. Leave her hand, Lucas. I think it is already late and she should return." Lucas replied, without freeing Daisy's hand, "You are right. She must return to her house now. But I am the one who is going to dri
Next morning when Daisy opened her eyes, she could feel a strong headache and her head was feeling extremely heavy. Her head was still spinning and she was still sleepy. She looked at the clock, it was showing 10:25 pm already. She was about to leave her bed to freshen her up when Rhea opened the door suddenly without even knocking and entered with a glass of juice. Daisy was feeling guilty. she was thinking that she had misused her freedom yesterday night. Though she couldn't remember the whole matter at all, she knew very well that she created a lot of mess after drinking. She was trying to apologise so she looked at her mom with her puppy eyes and about to speak when her mom handed her the juice and replied in her usual polite tone, "Drink it, sweetie. It is great for getting relief from a hangover." Then gently caressing, the back of her head, she continued, "It's alright. you don't have to feel sorry."Instantly, Daisy's lips curled up, she nodded
"Ugh! Shut up. Don't make fun of me, Helen," replied Daisy, while rolling her eyes, dramatically.Daisy looked at Helen little shyly and asked in a low tone, "So have Nick also called you?"Helen smiled broadly and replied, "Yes yes. Do you want to call him? Give me your phone."Then without giving Daisy any chance to reply, Helen grabbed Daisy's phone and started saving Nicolas's contact.Daisy asked anxiously while trying to snatch her phone from Helen, "What are you doing? Are you calling him on my phone? Helen, give my phone back. You evil girl!"Helen beautifully dodged Daisy's attack and escaping from her, she replied mockingly, "No dear, I am just saving his contact so that you two can talk whole night. But you are shouting?? Sigh!"After typing a few more digits, Helen handed over Daisy's phone to her. Daisy replied, "Why I will call him like this??
Daisy was about to yell when Nicolas asked nonchalantly, “What? Why are you giving that expression?” His rare purple eyes were shinning like gems?
“I have some works. So, you don’t have to wait,” Daisy replied, without looking at Nicolas. Nicolas stubbornly replied, “Ok, I will wait until you finish your all sorts of works.”Daisy replied anxiously, “Not at all. You cannot wait for me.”
Daisy was not in the mood to reply anymore. So she didn’t even bother to ask anything and fell asleep. Though Daisy was surprised when she saw Nicolas's sorry, in the end, she decided to ignore.Next day, after class, Daisy headed to the auditorium, accompanied by Helen. A boy from the crew came to her class previously to inform Daisy about the time of their rehearsal. Daisy pushed the door of the auditorium and
The sudden entry of Ruth was both unexpected and shocking for both of them. Before they could react or reply, Ruth continued, looking at Daisy in her sharp rude tone, "Do you think Nick cares for you? It is just all a bunch of lies. He is just playing with you. Nick loves to spoil innocent beauties."
