Davis’s POV

I reach for the scattered papers before the workers can gather them.

“Careful with those,” I tell the nearest worker.

He pauses, looking at me before stepping aside.

I collect the remaining documents from the floor, making sure none of them gets mixed up with the others. Rebecca is still kneeling beside me, holding the attendance register.

Her eyes move across the page, and I notice the sudden change in her expression.

“What is it?” I ask quietly.

She looks up at me but doesn’t answ

  • Again His Luna   THE CHOICE DAVIS NEVER MADE.

Rebecca’s POVI watch Davis stare at the restriction order in his hands, his jaw tightening as he reads his father’s signature for the third time.“Your father approved this?” I ask.He doesn’t answer immediately. Instead, he places the document on the desk and runs a hand through his hair.“I can’t believe he did this.”I understand his anger. There’s something painful about discovering that people you trusted made decisions about your life without giving you the chance to choose for yourself. But I don’t want his anger to make him forget why we’re here.“Davis, we need a copy of that order.”He looks at me.“Why? We already know who signed it.”“Because we need evidence. What happens if your father denies issuing it? We can’t rely on a document we haven’t officially recorded.”He exhales sharply.“You’re right.”I watch him pick up his phone.“I’ll access the family records at the university. There should be an official copy there.”“Then let’s go.”The university’s administrative b

Rebecca is still kneeling beside me, holding the attendance register. Her eyes move across the page, and I notice the sudden change in her expression.“What is it?” I ask quietly. She looks up at me but doesn’t answer immediately.“I recognize this name.”I take the document from her and examine the fourth entry. My fingers tighten around the paper. The name belongs to the council physician who conducted my original bond examination involving Harper. For a moment, I cannot make sense of what I’m reading.“That’s impossible,” I mutter.Rebecca turns towards me.“Do you know him?”I nod slowly.“He was the physician who handled my original examination. I was told his assessment was straightforward.”“Then wh

  • Again His Luna   THE TRUTH SHE WASN’T MEANT TO KNOW.

Rebecca’s POVI stare at the document in Aevrion’s hands, unable to take my eyes off the handwritten sentence. My death wasn’t supposed to happen. The words send a chill down my spine. I remember dying. I remember the loneliness of my marriage to Davis and the terrible uncertainty surrounding Harper’s return. But I have never considered that someone might have known something about my death before it happened.“Who wrote this?” I ask, finally looking up at Aevrion.“I don’t know yet, but I intend to find out.” His expression hardens. “I’m taking this to Dad. He needs to know what is happening.”“Not yet.”Aevrion frowns. “What do you mean, not yet?”“We need to investigate the official who authorized the sealed bond investigation first.”His eyebrows draw together. “You know who it is?”“I recognize the name. He’s attended our family gatherings for years. He’s always been around our parents, advising them on council matters. I don’t understand why someone like him would be involved in

  • Again His Luna   The Name on the File.

Rebecca’s POVI arrived at the Browns estate with Davis, still thinking about the four people who had attended the meeting before my first wedding.Someone had removed one of their names.I wanted to know why.Aevrion was waiting for us in his father’s study. Several folders were spread across the desk, and an old document lay open in front of him.“You came,” he said, looking at me.“You said you found something about the meeting. Show me.”Aevrion pulled the document toward me.“This is the attendance record. The meeting took place shortly before your wedding to Davis. According to the notes attached to it, they discussed pack security and the bond investigation.”I leaned over the desk. The first name was Orvayn Draven. The second was Elder Corvin Thorne. The third belonged to a council representative I recognized from previous pack meetings. But the fourth name had been covered with black ink.“Who did this?” I asked.“I don’t know.”“You’re telling me someone altered an official

  • Again His Luna   The Secret Between Their Families.

Davis’s POVI stood in my father’s study, waiting for him to explain why he had kept the bond investigation secret from me.He returned to his desk and picked up a folder.“The investigation was commissioned after concerns emerged about your connection with Rebecca,” Orvayn said. “The investigators believed there might be consequences for both packs if the connection was misunderstood or handled incorrectly.”“What kind of concerns?”“The findings were incomplete. There was no confirmed conclusion, only questions that needed further investigation.”“And your solution was to seal the report?”“The council believed restricting access would prevent people from making dangerous decisions based on uncertain information.”I stared at him.“You could have told me.”“And what would you have done with that information?”“That was my decision to make!”My father placed the folder on the desk.“You were already involved in a complicated situation with Harper. The Browns and Dravens were discussi

  • Again His Luna   The Person Who Framed Her.

Rebecca’s POVI stared at the preliminary access record on my phone, trying to understand how someone could use the Browns Pack’s credentials to access the sealed report and then arrange for me to be accused of obtaining it illegally.Someone had gone to the trouble of framing me. The question was why.I called Aevrion.“Rebecca, what happened?” he asked when he answered. “It’s late.”“I need to know who has access to our family’s restricted records.”There was a brief silence.“Why are you asking me this now?”“Because someone used the Browns Pack’s credentials to access the sealed bond report. Now Corvin Thorne is trying to get me suspended for it. I want to know who can access those records.”Aevrion sighed. “Some documents were placed under protection during the negotiations between our family and the Dravens. I told you that already.”“You also told me you didn’t know anything about the bond investigation.”“I didn’t. I knew there were restricted documents, Rebecca. I didn’t know
