LOGINRebecca Browns died believing she was never loved. She was the perfect Luna and the perfect wife, a useful bridge between two powerful packs. Then Harper came back, and the truth about her marriage fell apart. Then she wakes up three years before the wedding. Her parents are alive, her brother is still a boy, and Alpha Davis Draven is a stranger who has never hurt her. This time she has one rule: stay away from him. The university has other plans. A housing error leaves Rebecca with one choice: share the last luxury apartment with the arrogant young Alpha she is trying to avoid. They fight over the kitchen and the bathroom. They fight over every boundary she draws. And the man she remembers as cold and distant keeps showing up at her door with food, with teasing, and with a gentleness she never saw in her first life. His wolf has started to react to her, though he believes his fated mate is someone else. And the closer he gets, the more he looks at her as if he is remembering something he shouldn't. Rebecca thought she was the only one who knew how this ends. But someone ruined her first life on purpose, and now that she has changed the future, they are coming for her again. She doesn't want to be saved this time. She wants the truth.

I believe that the chest is going to be so fast. The stench of blood and copper is overpowering, and the cold air bites my flesh. As Davis's wife, I recall standing in our large bedroom. I recall staring at Harper, the lady Davis had a romantic interest in prior to our families pressuring him to wed me. "You truly thought he desired you?" Harper asked, laughing in a voice as icy as ice, while staring at me with hard, frigid eyes and whispering something that stabbed me more deeply than a knife. "You were simply a business deal. a link between two packs. You were never loved by Davis. He won't ever. Then came the flash of pain, the burning in my chest, and the heavy darkness pulling me down. I remember the cold floor against my cheek and the heavy gold ring on my finger—the symbol of a marriage built on lies. I closed my eyes, wishing I had never met Davis Draven, wishing I had chosen a different life. Except... the darkness didn't keep me. Suddenly, I gasp for air. My eyes snap wide open. The smell of blood is gone. Instead, I smell sweet lavender and fresh vanilla—the exact scent of my bedroom when I was nineteen years old. "What... what is happening?" I whisper, my voice shaking. I scramble backward, my hands scraping against soft cotton sheets. This isn't the grand, cold master suite at the Draven Pack estate. This is my old room in my family’s luxury apartment in the city. The walls are painted a soft cream color, my favorite books are stacked neatly on the wooden desk, and my fluffy white rug is right where it has always been. My heart hammers against my ribs, but this time it is from pure shock. I throw the blankets off and run across the cold floor to the tall mirror by my closet. I freeze. The girl staring back at me has wide, terrified green eyes, smooth skin without a single trace of worry lines, and long dark hair falling over her shoulders. There are no bags under my eyes from years of crying over a husband who wouldn't look at me. There is no heavy gold wedding ring on my left hand. I hold my hands up to the glass and touch my face. "I'm young," I gasp, tears spilling over my eyelashes. "I'm actually young again." The door to my room flies open, and a bright light spills in. A young man with messy brown hair and sleepy eyes stumbles into the doorway, rubbing his face. It’s my brother, Julian. Back in my first life, he got mixed up in bad pack politics and made choices we all regretted. But right now, he looks healthy, safe, and only seventeen years old. "Rebecca?" Aevrion mumbles, yawning loudly. "Why are you screaming? Do you know what time it is? It is like three in the morning." I stare at him, a fresh wave of hot tears burning my eyes. He is alive. My brother is right here, breathing and whole. Without even thinking, I run across the room and throw my arms around his neck, hugging him so tight he stumbles backward. "Whoa! Hey! What is wrong with you?" Aevrion complains, though he wraps his arms around me anyway, patting my back awkwardly. "Did you have a bad dream or something?" "You're alive," I sob into his shoulder, my voice cracking. "Oh, Aevrion you're really here." "Of course I'm here, where else would I be?" he asks, pulling back to look at me like I have lost my mind. He reaches out and wipes a tear from my cheek with his thumb. "You're burning up, Rivi. Are you sick? Should I go get Mom and Dad?" "No!" I say quickly, shaking my head. "No, don't wake them. I'm fine. Just... a really bad dream. Go back to bed, Julian. Please." Aevrion looks at me for a long moment, suspicious, but he is too tired to argue. "Okay, fine. But if you scream again, I'm telling Dad." He shuffles back out into the hallway and closes my bedroom door. I stand alone in the quiet room, the silence wrapping around me like a blanket. I walk back to the mirror and look deep into my own eyes. It wasn't a dream. I died, but somehow, time turned backward. I have been given a second chance. Three whole years before my parents even introduced me to Davis Draven. Three years before I agreed to let our packs join together. Three years before I ruined my entire life for a man who looked at me like I was a piece of furniture. I grip the edge of the dark wood dresser so hard my knuckles turn completely white. My reflection looks back at me, but the fear in my eyes is quickly turning into something else. Something hot and fierce. "Never again," I whisper to the empty room, my voice steady and cold. "I will never let him trap me. I will never wear his ring. Davis Draven will never touch my heart again."Rebecca’s POVI went completely still.Davis had not said he dreamed of me dying. He had not said he imagined losing me.He had said he remembered it.I stared into his eyes, and the fear I saw there made my chest tighten. For weeks, I had convinced myself that my memories belonged to a future I could change. But Davis was describing something he had never experienced in this life. Was my second chance no longer mine alone?“Davis,” Harper said, stepping closer to him. “What did you see?”He barely seemed to hear her. His eyes remained on me, as if he was waiting for me to tell him something I couldn’t say.“Tell me exactly what you remember,” I said.Davis swallowed. “Fragments. A wedding. You and me arguing. You were crying, and I knew I had done something wrong.”My fingers curled against my palms. He continued, his voice growing quieter. “I couldn’t understand what was happening. I kept trying to reach you, but you looked at me as if you hated me.”I looked away before he could re
Davis’s POV For several seconds, I stared at my phone. My father hadn’t asked what the report contained or whether the claims were true. He had gone straight to warning me against taking it to the council. That alone told me he knew more than he was willing to admit. Rebecca stood across the table, clutching the report against her chest. Her eyes moved from my phone to my face as I ended the call. “Davis, what did he say?” “He wants me at the Draven estate.” “Did he explain why he kept the investigation secret?” “No.” I slipped my phone into my pocket. “He refused to discuss it over the phone.” Rebecca let out a humorless laugh. “Of course. Your family keeps secrets, and we’re expected to show up whenever they call.” “I didn’t say I was going.” Her eyebrows lifted slightly. I pulled out the chair beside her and sat down. “I’m not going anywhere without you.” She studied me as if she were waiting for me to change my mind. “My father asked me to come alone,” I continued. “I
Rebecca’s POVI stared at the folded document on the table, unable to ignore the pressure building in my chest.Only minutes ago, Harper had admitted that the story I remembered from my first life was incomplete. Now, she expected me to believe that a piece of paper could explain why Davis had chosen me, why our marriage had fallen apart, and why I had died believing I was nothing more than a convenient alliance.Davis reached for the document, but I placed my hand over it.“Let me read it first,” I said. His eyes moved from my hand to my face. “Rebecca, I only want to see what it says.”“I know. But I spent my entire marriage being the last person to understand what was happening around me. I won’t do that again.”Davis went quiet. Then he pulled his hand back.“Fine. Read it first.”There was no argument, no attempt to take control. He simply moved closer so he could see the document when I opened it.For some reason, that small act unsettled me more than if he had argued.I unfolde
Rebecca’s POVI followed Davis into the living room just as someone opened the apartment door.Harper Arquen stepped inside. For a moment, I forgot what I was doing. The sight of her brought back the last hours of my first life, when her cruel words had made me believe that my marriage to Davis had been nothing but a business arrangement. She looked as elegant as I remembered, wearing a fitted black dress with her hair falling neatly over her shoulders.Davis stopped beside the sofa. “Harper? What are you doing here?”“I need to speak with Rebecca.”His eyebrows drew together. “You came all this way to speak with my roommate?”“The matter concerns her.” Harper glanced at me. “I’ll explain everything to you afterward.”I folded my arms. “You can explain it now. I don’t see why you need to speak to me privately.”Harper studied me for a moment before nodding. “Fine. Davis can stay nearby, but I would prefer to speak with you first.”I didn’t like the way she was avoiding his questions,
