Chapter Six

_____CHAPTER SIX______

The next day at work, there was no sign of Emma. Mrs Veronica didn't mention her either, and so I felt that she had already taken care of the issue like she promised.

___THREE DAYS LATER____

I had worked in the Beverly's Mansion for four days now, and I had not yet met Mr Logan Beverly. I had just seen a charcoal drawing portrait of him, and I had stared at it for a full minute, memorizing how he looked like.

I didn't relate well with the other staff, there was no much staff by the way. Just the cook, the Gardener, the housekeeper (Me of course), the security guards(, there were three of them) and Mrs Veronica, whom I found out was the house manager. Her job was just to oversee the overall operation of the household, and to snge the staff.

My fingers were raw from scrubbing the titles in the bathrooms and my back stiff. I carried am armful of clothes to the laundry room.

All these cold hearted bosses sef.. Sha I don't blame him. I believe that there is supposed to be a working distance between and employer and an employee but at least a simple thank you would do. Keep up with the good work though.... This is the first book I'm reading in Good Novel and I love it.
