‘’Have you thought about what you want to do after college?’’ Flora asked and I squinted, holding my phone to my ear tightly and wondering why she sounded more like my mom than someone her age.

‘’Yes, of course. It’s the reason I am studying. Probably going to end up at some radio station or work at a cable news where all we talk about is the president all day long,’’ I said and we both laughed.
