Chapter 6 - Ryan

Today is Chika's birthday, my favourite and only little sister. I have been so busy with the work in the office that I couldn't even spare anytime to get her something.

Well, she is organizing a party at home, so I sneaked out of the house to get her something quickly before she notices that I've left the house because if she notices it, she would have my head for dinner.

I immediately book a reservation to shop alone, I was tired of the ladies stealing glances at me or secretly taking pictures of me at the mall. After thirty minutes of driving, we arrived at the mall, and I stepped into the mall with my bodyguards.

I saw two ladies, and I recognized them immediately; Chimamanda and Chidinma Odenigbo, daughters of Chief Uche Odenigbo, my dad's business partner.

Chimamanda is more beautiful in reality than the pictures of her I have seen, she has a flawless skin that I love, her shape accentuate nicely from her clothes, her body is fitted well with the crop top and trousers she's putting on I find myself admiring her, "but why am I getting attracted to her this way besides I've seen her pictures scattered all over social media and magazines; This is the first time I'm getting so attracted and connected to a girl"

As I approach them, I greet them in the most respectful way I can. Instead, she yells at the receptionist for ushering me to the mall she reserved for her and her sister to shop for two hours.

I understand her, I should be angry too, but I decided to be cool, she's so pretty and fierce when she's angry, I noticed.

The receptionist tried to explain to her, while I was taking notice of her little jaw lines showing because of her yells, then I got the shock of my life as she slaps the receptionist hard on her face.

Her sister calms her quickly. "That was too harsh, Chimamanda. Besides, if you are about to leave, it won't have been a big deal to rearrange the time frame so it won't clash again" I said to calm the situation down. Instead, I received a rude statement from her "oh, shut up, I didn't ask you to talk"

"wow! What a rude beauty" I thought. The manager steps in and apologized, she rudely replied him, paid her bills and left.

Her sister stayed back to apologise to me. "I'm so sorry that my sister had to talk to you that way"

"It is okay, Chidinma by the way, my name is Ryan; Ryan Onyeka Ikeagu" i replied calmy. "Oh, my!  she gasped "I am guessing you to be the son of Engr.  Nnamdi Ikeagu of Ikeagu airlines a subsidiary of the Ikeagu group? she asked smiling.

"Yes" I said returning her smile. "Wow! I'm sorry, my sister

embarrassed you like that" she apologized with a disturbed face.

"No problem, Chidinma, we are bound to see different characters every day". This was the least I could say so she won't wear that disturbed look again. she nodded in affirmation and said  "okay, but my sister can be a sweet, loving lady though just that  she has her bad sides too". I let out a chuckle.

"I'll get going then" she stopped at the receptionist desk on her way out, apologized to her on her sister's behalf, she opened her bag; brought out something from it which looked like naira notes, the receptionist took it from her with a smile then I realized I needed to see Chimamanda again so I quickly ran after her sister for help, I call her back and asked her for Chimamanda's complimentary Card.

She looked surprised and asked me why? I didn't hesitate to tell her that I like her sister. She smiled and hands the card to me. "" She is a hard nut to crack" she warned. "I know, thank you" I replied.

She left the mall, then I started walking round looking for what to buy. After searching round, I settled on a red handless gown with sparkles at the chest region to the waist level, she could use it to go on a date, I thought.  I added a box of Diamond jewery  with  black heels to match the dress. After the gifts were wrapped, I paid for them and left the mall.
