The leaves scrunch under her bare feet as she walks forward. She had no idea about where she was. She could tell that it was night time, by how the owl hooted in the distance and the cool air whipped around and nipped occasionally at her skin causing shivers to run down her form.

3 years later Walking up in the morning and seeing the world was something Jade was thankful for. It had been three years since she gained her eye sight and she didn't miss any moment to cherish the blessing or take it for granted. Getting out of the bed, she walks into the bathroom attached to the room. Doing her normal morning business she comes out of the bathroom. An instant smile travels her face as she her eyes catch the sight of the small figure siting up on the small bed or crib.
