3 years later
Walking up in the morning and seeing the world was something Jade was thankful for. It had been three years since she gained her eye sight and she didn't miss any moment to cherish the blessing or take it for granted.
Getting out of the bed, she walks into the bathroom attached to the room. Doing her normal morning business she comes out of the bathroom. An instant smile travels her face as she her eyes catch the sight of the small figure siting up on the small bed or crib.
Walking towards the crib, with the smile still on her face she watches as the tiny figure sat inside the crib, with their back facing towards Jade, as they played with the soft toys that they went to sleep with in the night.
<Finally after a fifteen minute walk Jade stands outside the 'La Douceur'. This was the bakery Scarlett owned in the heart of Winston. People here loved the baked goods the bakery had to offer hence the hustle and bustle infront of Jade, she watched as people sat in the booths, chit chatting, and smiling. This was the one of the few bakeries in town, so it was obviously famous among the locals. Winston was a small town slash village kind of community. A tight-knit community of people. Tall trees and thick rain forest areas were common here, this place oozed calmness and brings peace to ones soul. People here were friendly and hospitable. She can't count the amount of people who had offered her help during her pregnancy. She was almost at the verge of crying, which might've made some people look at her
Grayson looked stunned at the woman standing in front of him. He couldn't believe his eyes, shock filling his features. This female was the same one his Alpha had been searching for, for the past three years he had been on a hunt, and here she was standing infront of Grayson in all her glory. His Alpha had been relentless in the search for her. As the days passed on, he got more angrier, and lashed out at smallest of mistakes. People in the pack were scared but they respected the man, for he had been keeping them same from an exterior threat for so long. Putting his pack's safety before his needs. They have been walking in eggshells around him, fear of setting him off anytime clouding their
Tightening the hold on the baseball bat, she swings the door open.Just as she swings open the door, her emerald green eyes meet a pair of ocean blue eyes. It felt like time stopped, as she stared at the stranger, she could feel her wolf stirring within her. She could also feel the mate bond, which had been dormant for three long years crackling again. Her heart beat sky rockets as she stares at the man who was her supposed mate. The wooden baseball bat dropping to the ground as shock enters her system. Her hands start trembling. The addictive scent of vanilla entering her nostrils like a breath of fresh air. Luring her in.
Anger and sadness shine in his ocean blue eyes as he looks at her. She presses Adonis closer to her, tightening her hold on him. She couldn't bare to continue looking at Adryan's face, because that look, that made her feel extremely guilty for keeping his son away from him for too long. "Is the baby mine?" He asks after few moments of silence. "No" she lies. "Do not lie to me Jade. I can smell both of our scents mixed with the baby" he speaks, moving closer. His body now pressed against hers but careful not to crush the sleeping child she held in her arms. His face moves closer to hers, his lips nearing hers b
Jade had to lay a sleeping Adonis onto her bed in order for her to collect their belongings, Adonis and her clothes were stuffed in a huge duffel bag within two minutes, and lastly Adonis' car seat. The ten minutes Adryan had given her was over within the time she was done packing their belongings and walking out with Adonis' in her hand, just like before. She had dragged and placed the huge duffel bag near her front door, no not her front door, where front door was supposed to be. Now absent since some one couldn't control their caveman tendencies. She rolls her eyes at that. When she walked outside her apartment, she was stunned to say the least. She hadn't expected there to be so many people out here. But now, as she took in the scene i
It's been three hours since they'd been travelling in the car, it wouldn't be long before they reached The Blood Moon Pack house. Jade had dozed off in the backseat while Adryan kept his attention around the sorrounding occasionally turning back to look at her sleeping figure. He felt like a creeper but he couldn't contain himself since it had been three years since he had seen her, or felt the mate bond so strongly. The sudden emotions that stirred inside him were overwhelming all of a sudden. As he looked in the mirror for the hundredth time, he found his eyes move to the tiny figure buckled into the car seat, and to his surprise the person looked right back at him, his blue green eyes staring back at him curiously. It seemed like his breath had gotten caught in his throat for he couldn't move his eyes aw
It was a normal day, as long as she ignored the fact that she didn't wake up in her bed, nor in her own house. It took Jade a few minutes to come to the realization that she was in The Blood Moon Pack territory now. She sighs as she sat upright on the soft mattress, turning her head to the side, she nearly had a heart attack when she found the spot next to hers empty, Adonis had slept beside her yesterday, yet he wasn't beside her or anywhere in the room for the matter, which worried her. Climbing down from the bed, she goes into the washroom to brush her teeth, and does her normal morning routine, just ten times faster today since her mind wouldn't rest until she found her son. Rushing down the stairs which she vaguely remembered from her memories from a few hours ago, she didn't wait to stop and examine the furnishing and layout of the house, oddly enough she'd remembered the way Adryan had taken, remembering that she had merely got a glance into the kitchen in the dark. Taking a
Violet felt like the spotlight was put on her, she felt conflicted. On one side was her best friend whom she knew wasn't ready to talk with Adryan and on the other side was her Alpha, and the said mate. "I-" Violet is saved from answering when Jade speaks up. "Talk about what?" she questions Adryan, turning towards him with an eyebrow raised in question. "Talk about things" Adryan's eyes flit towards Violet's direction. Making Jade realize that he didn't want to speak about whatever he wanted to in front of her. Heaving a sigh, she speaks up. "Okay", She wanted to get this over as soon as possible, denying him would only make him pursue her harder later on. "Come with me" he motions her to follow after him, which she does. She turns back to see Violet mouthing her the word 'sorry', to which Jade just shakes her head and mouths back 'it's okay, not your fault' with that she flashes Violet a reassuring smile and continues to follow Adryan outside. "Would you like a tour of the pack
