Chapter 6

The morning Kathy closing opening her eyes to see herself laying on Mr. Thompson chest right away she pulled herself away from trying not to wake him up. She turn over to get her cellphone to see it was seven in the morning, and she could see she was missing calls from her father. Sigh pulled the blanket from her body and sit up to stretch her muscle out before going to the bathroom to do her business, then brush and wash her face. Once that was done Kathy slowly walked out of the bedroom and pulled the door up, so she don’t disturb Mr. Thompson. Just walked over to the table where she left her mom wrap up in the golden cloth as she unwrapped her and smile putting her picture on top. Just sit at the table and talk to her mom.

“Good morning, mom. You believed this. I know if you was live you would yelling at me. But I have this feeling I had to help this person who was injured. I feel like I had to help him, but the doctor came over and check on him, which everything is okay. Dad is angry because he want the money and company that you build from the ground up, to live the rich life with his new family. I know I shouldn’t be about people but Skye took my boyfriend who is now my ex but I knew he been cheating on me for a while but not step-sister well I know you must be angry in the heavens. I am staying at this penthouse with the Mr. Thompson until he heal enough or someone can come and take care of him. Mom, I don’t know what I show do. Either get marry by a random man to marry or have father pick a man for me to marry.”

Kathy heard the elevator door open and see a young man came in see Kathy sitting there at the dining table still in her night clothes.

“Good morning, Can I help you?”

“Good morning, my name is Miles we talk on the phone in the phone,”

“Oh, yes. Why did you say Alpha on the phone,”

Miles knew that he made mistakes by saying Alpha, he clearly see that she don’t know what he was talking about just smiles at her. And scratch the back of his neck and tries not to talk about it then look away.

“For get what I was saying. Where is he?”

“Mr. Thompson is in the bedroom still sleeping. If he wake up just give him some painkiller for his headache that he is going to have. By then I am going to make breakfast,”

“Thank you. Um…. who was you talking to?” asked Miles

“Oh mom, she is over here on the table. She passed away, I talk to her, it not crazy I feel like she is still with me,”

“I am sorry for your lose, I am going to check on him right now,”

Kathy watch Miles goes into the bedroom and close the door behind him, thinking that it’s could be Mr. Thompson husband, but she didn’t see a ring on Miles finger. Wait are they lover just keep it secret from their loves ones. It’s none of her business anyways she took out fridge to make breakfast, then her cellphone ring again therefore she put in her Bluetooth to answer the called.

“Kathy, when are you coming home?” said Edward

“Good morning to you dad. What is it you want?”

“Come home, so we can talk. I have a business partner who want to talk to you too,”

“Dad I don’t know what you are up too. You are not going have the company or it’s money for your second family. I am going to hang up,”

“If you hang up this phone, you better not come back home. I will also burn all your mother things,”

“You are sick, you know that,”

“If you want your mother things, you will come home,”

“I will be there,”

Kathy hangs up the called she can’t believe that her father threat her with her things that she left behind at the house. She need a plan fast,”

In the bedroom Miles see his Alpha Anthony sitting up in the bed as he look at his Beta who stand next to him. Anthony see the woman that was sleeping at was gone, as he woke up when he saw her get up and head out of the room. Miles look at his alpha as he looking at the door.

“Alpha, is something wrong,”

“That woman is my mate,”

“Who Kathy? She is the one who save. She is your mate, you felt the spark,”

“Yes, she smell like apple spice mixed with brown sugar. But I heard her talking to someone,”

“Um…yes her mother who passed away, her ashes are in the box on the table. Anyways she is making breakfast, Kathy is your mate, which mean you going to bring her home,”

“No, not yet until I found out who is trying to killed. Did you find out anything?”

“No, Alpha,”

There was a knocked on the door, rise his hand up to Miles to be quiet, as Kathy opening the door and carrying a tray of food for Mr. Thompson to eat as she enter she see him sitting up and Miles back away. Kathy look at them two like they was talking about something, probably of how they going to run away together and get marry so their can have their happier ending. Just put the tray over his legs and back away from the bed.

“I sorry I didn’t mean to disturb you two, I will going,”

Kathy exit out of the room and let those two men talk, closed the door behind her as she went to her suitcase and pulled it into the living so she can get dress for the day.
