Esme sees her daughter Skye sobbing uncontrollably, ran to her mother's arms; Esme saw Kathy enter the dining room, settle into her chair, and smile at the reunion.
“Mom, Kathy pulled my hair all because I was in her room,”
“Skye, I told you many times do not come into my room. You should know better. I see it’s still raining,”
“Kathy, say sorry about your sister,”
"No chance, she's just my step-sister. If only she and her quirky mother would understand that staying out of my room is all I ask for to avoid any problems.”
“Who you called crazy?” asked Esme
“Enough! Let have dinner,” yelled Edward
When their food was placed before them, Esme and Skye took their seats. Kathy, on the other hand, enjoyed her customary creamy soup, a smaller portion of the cook sometimes prepared for her. Everyone ate quietly until Edward cleared his throat to get Kathy's attention; she was looking at her father. The servant answered the door. Asher Carter, who is Kathy's boyfriend for four years since they both was in high school. He surprised Kathy by entering the dining room with flowers, then handing them to her step-sister. She's furious because her suspicions about Asher and her half-sister, Kathy, have been proven true: he's been cheating on her.
With a frown, Kathy asked, "Just how long has this been going on?"
“About a year, you two been dating,” said Skye
"Father," Kathy said, her eyes wide, "you knew about this?"
“Yes, Esme knew too,”
“You can’t be serious.”
Kathy seized a water jar, flung its contents at now ex-boyfriend Asher, then gave the jar back to the servant.
“She is getting out-of-control honey,” said Esme
“It only water, you lucky it wasn’t that hot soup,” said Edward
Seeing Asher was soaked, Skye offered him a towel and wondered if he'd stay the night, as she knew he wouldn't want to go home in wet clothes. In contrast, Kathy couldn't care less; she plans to leave tonight, after packing her belongings. She'll go insane if she remains here. Her father stopped Kathy just as she was leaving.
“Kathy, you can’t walk away from this,”
“Why can I?
You never stop Skye from doing whatever she wants, Dad. I get yelled at no matter what I do. It seems like you care more about her than about me and Mom. Your true colors are showing.
“You are older than her. You can treat her as your sister,”
“Hell no, I rather sleep with random men than make your mistress daughter my sister,”
Rising from his seat, Edward slapped Kathy across the face. Kathy never imagined her father would ever strike her, not even when she talked back. This is the first time Kathy has left the dining area without speaking.
“I plan to stay at the hotel for a couple of nights,”
“Here, take this with you,”
Kathy attempted to grab the object from her father's hand but failed, so she returned to her room upstairs. Kathy went into the closet and packed her clothes into her suitcase. Did she tell the truth? She has never seen Skye as her sister. She looked at her mother's picture and let out a quiet sigh. Yes, it's best for her to stay at a hotel for a couple of nights until things calm down. She can't leave her mother's ashes unsupervised; she's vulnerable outside the house. So Kathy found a gold cloth, wrapped her mother's box in it, put the pictures inside, and completed packing.
She's aware Skye likes to go in her room and mess with her things when she's not there. Having packed her belongings, she grasped her mother's urn, exited the room, and closed the door. The butler helped her carry her suitcase downstairs.
“Thank you,”
“You are welcome,”
Seeing her ex with her stepsister has enraged Kathy, but Skye is oblivious to the possibility of him repeating his behavior, perhaps even getting her pregnant. They'll get theirs; karma's a boomerang. It is no longer raining. With her mother's ashes, she carefully picked up her suitcase and carried it to the car, making sure it did not fall. After loading the car, get in and place the cloth on the passenger seat. With her car already warm, Kathy drove from the driveway towards a hotel, with a plan to pick up food en route. She didn't eat dinner because she wasn't hungry.
Kathy is overwhelmed with the urge to scream and cry, but is unable to. Her family constantly angers her, but she forces herself to remain calm. She arrived at the fast-food restaurant, retrieved her money from her bag, and placed her order. Because she's saving to stay at the luxurious Ruby Palace Hotel (a pricey $500-$2,000 per night), Kathy will finally be able to afford it and avoid a motel. After Kathy settles the bill for her meal, she will head to the hotel. She ate fries while driving; the weather has changed lately with the full moon is out tonight, keeping driving. A gut feeling made her pull over; her mother's warnings about robbery and violence echoed in her mind. Noticing a man leaning against a tree, Kathy grabbed a bat from her car's backseat. She looked and listened before cautiously approaching him. She knelt beside him to see if he was breathing; his chest rose and fell, indicating he was. Kathy saw blood pouring from his head wound, staining his face, and his shirt was ripped. The reasons behind the man's attack and subsequent abandonment puzzled her. His wound requires treatment at the hospital, so she'll take him.
"Sir, can you hear me?" "Because of your head injury, I'm taking you to the hospital."
Just as she started to rise, the man seized her waist, preventing her from moving. The moonlight revealed that he was blind. Kathy couldn't leave him to die from his head injury; she mustered her strength and managed to get him to the car.
The morning Kathy closing opening her eyes to see herself laying on Mr. Thompson chest right away she pulled herself away from trying not to wake him up. She turn over to get her cellphone to see it was seven in the morning, and she could see she was missing calls from her father. Sigh pulled the blanket from her body and sit up to stretch her muscle out before going to the bathroom to do her business, then brush and wash her face. Once that was done Kathy slowly walked out of the bedroom and pulled the door up, so she don’t disturb Mr. Thompson. Just walked over to the table where she left her mom wrap up in the golden cloth as she unwrapped her and smile putting her picture on top. Just sit at the table and talk to her mom.“Good morning, mom. You believed this. I know if you was live you would yelling at me. But I have this feeling I had to help this person who was injured. I feel like I had to help him, but the doctor came over and check on him, which everything is okay. Dad is an
Kathy opening her suitcase to take her clothes so she could take a shower, then making something. She fell like a nurse taking care of a sick patient, walking to the bathroom but leaving the door open little one. The bathroom is not that big living in the penthouse, just turn on the water to wait until it warms up a bit. Kathy got into the shower, letting the water run down her bodyNow she felt something heat going through her body that she never felt both quickly turn handlers toward cold water to cool down her body then this pain that is coming from her chest. She suddenly felt weak, collapsing onto the shower floor. Through her blurry vision, she noticed scales on the back of her hands and arms. What happen to her body? Even though the cold water continued to pour down, she struggled to stand her legs unresponsive. Only after slowly sitting up did she notice the fin. Kathy's touch confirmed the scales on her body were real, and she saw the same scales on the chest. She's a mermaid
Kathy hear the elevator door open, so she left the room to see a man with a white coat on and a medical bag with him therefore she went over to him.“Hello, you must be the doctor?”“Yes, I am Dr. Jones. I am here to see Mr. Thompson,”“Yes, I put him in this room, I clean the blood off his head. While I was driving down the street, I saw him on the side of the road, he didn’t want me to take him to the hospital, so he told me to bring him here. Please, can you check him out?”“I will,”Kathy show Dr. Jones where his patient is sleeping as they enter the room, Mr. Thompson is still breathing but he is not moving so much there the doctor walked over to him and check his wound it’s was heal. He took out his light to check Mr. Thompson's eyes to see there any blood in the back of his eyes then using his finger to check his head and neck for any injuries to see that everything has been heal already. “How is he doctor?” asked Kathy“Mr. Thompson, is lucky that you found him. If not he wou
Upon reaching the car, the man, who was quite heavy, opened the passenger door and carefully entered to avoid hitting his head on the car's end. Kathy heard a noise from the woods after closing the door, so she grabbed her bat and hurried to the driver's side. Kathy ensured she got into her car safely and drove off as she saw two huge wolves emerge from the woods but they didn't pursue her. Kathy slowly down bit, as she made to the Ruby Palace Hotel where is safe and well light up then she turn around to see the man has his eyes closed, careful she want to check his pockets for a phone or wallet to show who is he. But there was nothing.“Sir, you need to go to the hospital you may have a head injury,”“No, hospital,”“It can be serious. Can you remember where you lived?”“My apartment is at The Ruby Palace Hotel penthouse,”“Alright, but I can’t find your wallet or cellphone,”“The keycard is inside of my jacket pocket so is my phone,”Kathy reach inside of his jacket pocket and took

The rain beat heavily on the windowpane, flowing downwards, while flashes of lightning briefly lit the night sky. The fair near the fire in the mansion, where I have fond memories of joy and laughter, has made the air feel damp. However, everything changed when Edward Walker remarried right after his wife Grace passed away from blood cancer. Kathy, his 21-year-old daughter, who witnessed her mother's suffering from cancer until the end, found it particularly upsetting when her father welcomed his new wife, Esme, and her daughter, Skye, into the mansion. Kathy disliked hearing her mother's family discuss the company and finances. They were unaware that her mother's lawyers would ensure that everything, including the company, goes to Kathy. To receive her inheritance and the benefits of companionship, Kathy must get married. The company's care falls to Edward; however, he is forbidden from handling company funds or Kathy's inheritance, which is managed by her mother, Grace. Knowing the
