Artemis

Green, always my favourite. Whenever I feel tired or low, I'll take a run to the forest. Running through the woods, by the lake and stopping in the valley and looking at the endless sky keeps my heart in ease. I closed my eyes and the scenarios came to my memories again.

It was raining for days now and I was strictly forbidden to go outside. My six years soul was extremely bored and when I got a chance I didn't waste a moment to run outside. Drizzling rains and the sunshine coming through the gap of branches make the atmosphere enchanting and then I saw the rainbow. I had to reach to the rainbow, my little feet touch the ground again and I was running again, grinning ear to ear. But it was too late when I realised I was lost. I wanted to go back home but couldn't find my way.

I was afraid of getting scolded. It was too late, maybe they've found out I'm not at my room. I was running here and there, it was getting darker. It started pouring and my heart almost brust out in fear with the loud sound of thunder.

"Mom!!!"

"Dad!!"

I screames desperately.

My own words echoed in my ears. And then I saw something and got frozen in my place. Two burning eyes looking at me hungrily. A low growl coming from him, an rogue wolf.

I took two steps back and he took forward.

I was scared, tears rolling down my cheeks. And when he jumped to catch me, I closed my eyes, a loud screaming leaving my throat.

But the hit never fall on me, I got the soothing smell of lavender mixed with rains. A brown wolf is fighting with the rouge and that's what I remember before passing out.

I opened my eyes and reality welcomed me. Anna's death, finding my mate, things are more messed up now. I don't know how mom is going to react. She is in her sister's pack now.

I take off my shirt,I badly need a cold shower.

But my phone ringing forcing me change my mind.

" Alpha , you have to come and see something."

"Can't it wait little bit longer??"

" It'll be better if you can come sooner."

" I'm coming."

But suddenly my mates smell hit my nostrils and when I come outside I find her entering one of my warrior's room.

What the hell she is doing at his room while he is in it.

Luka growled possessively.

But when I got closer, this time it was me who growled louder.

That bastard name slipping her lips made my blood boil.

I wanted to punish her but touching her all my temper falls. Our close proximity effects her. Her big doe eyes squinting and green is my altime favourite. I want to hold her, protect her and do all the unholy things. Her wanting to do all these with someone cross my mind. All I feel hate, I feel disgust at myself for letting my guard down.

I said the last thing I wanted to say to my mate ever ,

"Whore" and leave the place.

I look at the dead body laying on the basement. One of our guards at the border.

" He found something fishy at the north part and went to check and got attacked." One of my warriors informed me.

" What the fuck others were doing," rage rising in me.

" It's was too late when they went."

" Did they find the culprit??"

"No, but we find something else."

"What?" I questioned coldly.

" The person who was keeping eye on us for all these time." My eyes snapped at him with the information. The spy we were trying to find is finally got caught. Not bad, I think.

But I feel betrayed hearing his name.

" It's Elias."

The man I rescued from the rouge attack, gave shelter as a poor human being. I hate cheater, liar and disloyal person. Elias you played it dirty, now it's my time. Sinister laugh scaping my lips.

The room was dark, only a table at the middle and two chairs in each sides of it. A yellow light is hanging in the ceiling.

He was seating in a chair bound by ropes.

His eyes sparkled watching me, he was smiling.

"Elias long time no see."

"Kill me, still I won't tell you anything." He dared to speak thumping his leg on the floor. The same leg I was spending money to heal the wound. Taking out the gun, I put it on the table.

"How is your leg right now ", I said quitly taking a seat on the chair.

His chest was rising and falling, he fumbled finding no words.

I smelled fear, such a coward with big words.

"You want to die, why not telling us the way you prefer to die".

"He is more powerful than you. He will destroy every and each of you." He said threateningly.

" We'll see that, you don't have to think cause you won't be there to see our downfall, right."

My cold voice giving him shivers.

" You won't do anything, if I got killed you won't get any information." He said weakly more like reassuring himself.

"So full of yourself." I pulled the trigger and directly shoot at his knees. A painful scream echoed at the closed wall.

I look at his painful face and smirked,

"How does it feel, Elias?"

"You all have to pay for this.

Your time is coming to an end", he smiled through pains.

I don't afraid of my end but I do care for my people. And as long as I'm alive I'll try my best to protect them. And it's a promise.

But I can't let go of a traitor that easily.

" Don't you think a death will be a compromise for a traitor like you."

He is shivering with fear, I guess he knows me and my words better.

" It's been a while having some fun, let's play a bit longer before giving you what you want......" I paused let out a sinister laughter.

"Please forgive me, please forgive me ", he whipered helplessly. But it's too late now.

And my cold eyes meet his and I declared,

"Death."
