I looked at the mirror and find out a beautiful green eyed girl looking at me.

" Wow, Bella. You are looking so pretty today ," Levi's excited voice came to my ears as she was doing some hairstyles with my brown curly locks.

"Thank you, Levi. It's because of your makeover that I'm looking pretty," I thanked her because I never knew I can look this pretty with a 5.2" height, a petite body and pale tone.

" Rubbish!! You are definitely the prettiest one of the Autumn Moon pack," she scolded me mildly and I didn't retort back.

I was busy thinking about all the scenarios happened in those past few days. My life took a drastic turn on my 20th birthday.

Years ago a tragic rogue attack cause my mother's life and I was born prematurely. I was weak, short and timid than others. But still everyone accepted me warm heartedly for whom I was and treated me as their precious princess. Autumn Moon pack is one of the smallest pack with only a hundred people but we are recognised in wolf society as a peaceful pack.

At my sixteen birthday when I realised I didn't have an wolf like others I was devastated. But my pack members, my family and my best friend Vegas took care of me and made me feel that I was exceptional, I was special. Then I started to learn medicine from our Pack's doctor and I was living in the hope that I'll find out the love of my life, my mate someday.

I know Vegas all my life. He is an orphan rescued from the forest by my mother. And till then he is living with us. I literally grew up with him. He is my friend, my playmate and everyone was thinking that he may turn out to be my soulmate also. I also hoped that too as I always have a soft corner for him. But on my 18th birthday when we found out that he wasn't my mate I was broken. Over these two years my father tried to find my mate by forcing me to attend all the parties, galas and events but all in vain. Little did we all knew that without an wolf the chances of finding a mate is very low. But they didn't want to see their princess sad so they tried their best.But I was hopeless.

Then on my 20th birthday something happened. Vegas got in his knees in front of the whole pack and proposed me" marry me, Bella. Be my mate".

It was a tough decision. I have feelings for him , it's obvious. But I never wanted him to let go of him mate because of me.

" What about your mate, Vegas."

" I'm twenty three, Bella and still didn't find her. And it's you whom I love Bella. Once we mated the bond will automatically get broken."

"But," I was confused and shocked with his confession.

" I love you, Bella."

When the whole pack cheered for him and said "say yes". I couldn't say no. I couldn't ignore the hopeful eyes of my father and pack members. I have feelings for him and my pack was happy. And things happened so fast and an week later, today I'm getting ready for my wedding.

I was so immersed in my thoughts that I didn't notice someone has entered my room. The cracking sound of locking door made me come to my senses. It was Vegas. He was in black pants and white shirt. His sleeves were folded till arms, his disheveled brown hair was covering his forehead. He was looking handsome. His tired blue eyes sparkled when he saw me and I can't help but blushing. Sometimes I wonder how things change according situation. I was so comfortable with him but now his presence make me feel awkward and my heart on race. He took tiny steps towards me and his eyes were locked on my face with admiration.

" You are so pretty, Bella", he said coming close to me. When I took a careful look on him, I knew something was bothering him.

" Is everything fine, Vegas", I asked him.

"Yup, I love you Bella", he said ignoring my question.

He continued, " it was always you, it is you, it will be you whom I'll love forever, babe. You are mine." My heart pounderd loud at my chest with his words and when he put his lips gently on my forehead. I closed my eyes.

" See you soon, Bella". Why it seems like he was telling me a good bye. When I opened my eyes he was leaving the room in hurry leaving me behind confused.

Moments later screams and commotions from downstairs got my attention. I was scared and ran there. My body freeze seeing the scene in front of me. My pack got attacked and everyone was scared to death.

" We have no problems with you, we just want Vegas. Where's he??" a man said in a very cold voice.

My father came forward " We couldn't find him, he is missing."

"Coward, let me see the lady for whom he rejected our Alpha's sister. Because of that bastard she committed suicide. Find him otherwise you'll have to pay for his deed."

I couldn't believe my ears what I have heard just now. A squawk can be heard on the crowd.

My father protest , " it's not her fault. We didn't even know he has a mate."

It was when their eyes fall upon me. Anyone can know that I'm the bride by my dressing up.I was standing there dumbfounded, I was shocked with the revelation. Someone dragged me down and I fall on the ground. Some of my pack members tried to help me but got hurted brutally. They were indeed powerful than us. But then we heard a growl and the crowd make space for someone to came. I smell the most delicious and alluring scent, the scent of morning dews and sandal woods. My eyes popped up with the realisation. I stayed freeze on my position I don't know how long. It was strangly calm and quiet right now. Nobody made a single noise. It's when I nervously tilted my head and my eyes locked with his blue orbs. All I saw was the rage of betrayal and hatred. An wishper left my lips "Mate."
