I pulled Sienna behind me as I tried moving her from the forming fire.

A low growl escaped my chest, alerting the pack members who were outside the pack’s boundaries, masking their scents with the herbs that were provided by the werewolf elders.

Though I didn’t trust using them at first, I feared the pack members getting injured or them trying to kill us; however, I was surprised when that was not the case. If anything, it seemed like they were genuinely trying to stop a war from forming.

“Arturo, what are we going to do?” Sienna asked, breaking the train of my thoughts. I purred in response, wanting her to calm down despite the situation that we were in. Eli knew how to take advantage of a weak moment that my wife would be having in such a situation and that was not something that I wanted. If anything, I knew for fucking fact that I was going to make that witch pay for what she was doing; however, for now, I needed my wife to be calm through this situation.
