Picking up his shaky legs one after the other, Ashier made his way to the dining room, his steps were slow and unsteady. The aroma of the breakfast dishes filled the air, tempting his senses, but as he sat down to eat, his appetite had diminished. The food on his plate seemed tasteless, the flavors dulled by the weight of his deteriorating condition.

His head spun with dizziness, intensifying his struggle to focus on the meal before him. He picked at the food, unable to bring himself to take a single bite. Each morsel felt heavy in his mouth, as if infused with a bitter reminder of his own mortality. He couldn't eat the food, he stared at the plate his fork moved in a circular motion as different thoughts raced through his mind. Thoughts of the condition he was in swept through his head.
