CHAPTER EIGHT
The WarningBlair was lost in thought as she and the other slaves were led back to the cell. She couldn't shake off what she had seen in the woods - the prince, Ralph, making out with one of the maids. She knew it was dangerous to have witnessed that, and she feared that they would come for her.She knew they would want her to keep that as a secret and they would come for her. She couldn’t stop the feeling that kept lingering at her, the feeling that she was in danger and these people would come for her just to make her speak. As they were pushed into the cell, Blair's mind was racing with different thoughts. She tried to keep her composure, but her heart was pounding with fear. She couldn't believe what she had seen - the prince, who she had only seen once, was there, in the woods, with one of the slaves.Blair knew really well that they would come for her, she knew she couldn’t escape that and she was scared of what they might do to her. Blair knew they would want her to be silence and what they could do to make sure that she was silent made her so scared. What if they hurt her? What if they do the same thing they did to Liza to her? She was so scared.Blair couldn't help but wonder how long this had been going on and how many other slaves the prince had used for his own pleasure. She knew that if she was caught, she could face serious consequences. She was confused, was the prince having an affair with that one maid or there were other maids that he does that with. She tried to keep calm as she lay down on the cold, hard floor of the cell, but the image of Ralph and the maid kept playing in her mind. She didn't know what would happen to her if they found out, but she was sure that it wouldn't be good.Blair's heart was pounding with fear as she thought about what she had witnessed in the woods again, the thought and images won’t leave her head. She felt vulnerable and exposed, like she was a target for something she couldn't understand. The uncertainty of her safety and what could happen to her consumed her thoughts. Every step she took, she couldn't breath she breathe, the feeling of being watched or followed lingered on. Her hands were shaking and her breathing was shallow, she felt like she was going to pass out at any moment. She knew that she had stumbled upon a dangerous secret, and the consequences of being caught could be dire. She didn't know who to trust or where to turn, and the thought of being locked up in this dirty cell for the rest of her life made her stomach churn. All she could do was pray and hope that somehow, she could find a way out of this situation. As Blair sat there, her mind racing through different thoughts, she saw a guard walk into the cell, his face long and his stare was so intimidating. The guard looked around he stopped when his eyes met hers.“Yes you,” he said and walked to Blair, he pulled her up from the floor forcefully, “Come with me,” he dragged her out.“Where are you taking her to?” Emily shouted at the guard who stopped and gave her a horrible look.“You had better sit there without uttering another word, do what is good for you slave,” he warned and dragged Blair out.As the guard dragged her away, she knew there was something wrong and something was about to happen, but she couldn’t really tell what it was.“Where are you taking me to?” Blair shouted, “Why am I the only one you are pulling out, I did nothing wrong,” she screamed.“Just keep quiet and follow me, or I slap you hard,” the guard yelled at her, “You have no idea what is about to happen to you,” he added.Blair’s heart skipped multiple beats in a second, what was going to happen to her? What was he going to do to her?Blair knew for a fact that something was about to happen and she also knew that it was because of what she saw couple of minutes ago.Blair shook in fear, what would they do to her? She already knew that she was in danger and she got more confirmation with what the guard said. What was prince Ralph going to do to her? She didn’t know what her fate was and that made her so scared.“Please let me go,” she begged.“Just keep quiet and follow me!” He yelled.Blair's heart was beating fast as the guard kept dragging her along the corridors. She felt helpless and vulnerable, like a prey being led to its predator. Her mind raced with thoughts of what could happen to her. She wondered if they were taking her to the prince or they were only going to pass a judgement on her. She prayed that it wasn't the latter, knowing that she might get spared if she promises to keep her mouth closed about what she saw.Blair's legs felt weak, and she stumbled a few times as the guard pulled her roughly. Her mind was in a blur, and she couldn't think straight. All she could do was hold on to the guard's hand and beg him to let her go. But he was unrelenting, and Blair knew that there was no point in resisting. She knew that she had to face whatever awaited her, and that scared her the most. The uncertainty of her fate and the fear of the unknown made her feel helpless. She wished that she could go back to her old life, where everything was predictable and safe. But now, she was in a world where danger lurked around every corner, and she didn't know if she would make it out alive.Blair gasped when she saw the maid she caught with the prince from afar. She knew it, she knew the guard was taking her to them.“Eben, excuse us for some minutes,” she said to the guard who stepped away from us.“And you,” she smiled and grabbed my arm, “I have nothing much to say to you, I just want to warn you against what you are planning. Keep whatever you saw back there a secret. Is that clear?”Blair nodded, her heart raced as she listened to the maid's warning. She was terrified and didn't know what to do. The thought of being killed for what she saw was too much for her to bear. She nodded her head again, indicating that she understood the maid's warning. The maid continued to speak in a hushed tone, telling Blair that she had seen too much and that the prince couldn't afford to have her spreading rumors about what she had seen. She advised Blair to keep her mouth shut and not tell anyone about what she saw.“If you make any attempt to speak, then the prince won’t think twice before cutting off your tongue, you won’t be able to say a word again,” she laughed.Blair was overwhelmed with fear and didn't know what to do. She felt trapped and alone in this strange world. She wanted to go back to her old life, to the familiar comforts of her home and family. As the maid finished speaking, the guard returned to take Blair away. She knew that she had to be careful and keep her head down if she wanted to survive. She had to find a way to escape from this place and get back to her old life.Blair was taken back to the cell where she sat up at one corner, her arms around her as she was lost in deep thoughts. One of her friends, Emily, walked up to her and held her, asking what was wrong, but Blair couldn't bring herself to tell them what happened. She was afraid that if she spoke up, it would only make things worse for her. She had been warned to keep her mouth shut, else she was going to regret it, she couldn’t afford to put her life or anyones life in danger. As they sat there in silence, Blair's mind raced with thoughts of how she could possibly escape and get back to her own world. She didn't belong here, and she couldn't bear the thought of spending the rest of her life as a slave in this place. Her fear and uncertainty were overwhelming, and she couldn't help but wonder what her fate would be. Would she be punished for what she saw? Would they try to hurt her or even kill her?Blair knew she had to be strong and find a way to survive, but it seemed impossible in this cruel world. All she could do was pray for a miracle and hope that somehow, she would find a way out.CHAPTER NINEThe Broken StatueBlair woke up the next morning with whitish lines on her face, her tears had dried up.She sat up and raised her legs up to her face level, then she rested her head on it, she missed the comfort of her home, she missed how it feels to be with her parents, to be with people who love her.Her friends noticed that Blair seemed distant and lost in thought, they had noticed that since the night before but she wasn’t willing to open up to them.“What do we do now?” Emily asked, “She isn’t ready to tell us what went wrong with her. I still can’t figure out what the guards did with her.”“Do you think he took advantage of her?” Liza asked.“No, I don’t think that is what happened, I think it is something else, but why isn’t she opening up to us,” Amy murmured, “We can at least know what to do and how to help her if she says something but she has just been mute since.”Emily sighed, “I think we can still comfort and console her even if we don’t know what went w
CHAPTER ELEVENTortured“Take her away!” Ashier ordered, not giving room for any explanation from Blair.Blair was pulled away by the guard, her heart racing as she was dragged down a dark hallway. Her mind raced with thoughts of what was to come, she knew that the punishment for breaking something in the palace was severe.Blair struggled to free herself from the grip of the guard, but his hold was too strong. Her heart raced with fear as they approached a dark and ominous room. She had heard whispers of the torture room, a place where those who disobeyed or failed in their duties were punished severely. The guard pulled her into a room filled with torture devices, and her stomach churned with fear. She tried to plead with him, to explain that it was an accident, but he didn't listen. He pushed her down onto a chair and tied her hands behind her back. Blair trembled as she saw the various tools and devices around the room. She knew that she was about to experience unspeakable pain.T
CHAPTER ELEVEN Pain, Agony, And RegretBlair was taken back to the cell by the guard, her back still throbbing with pain from the merciless whipping she received. With each step she took, she winced and let out a groan. It felt like her skin was being torn apart with each movement. She struggled to keep up with the guard's pace, her legs feeling weak and wobbly. As they reached the cell, Blair was barely able to stand. She slumped down on the cold, hard ground and held her back, tears streaming down her face. The pain was unbearable. She felt helpless and alone in a world that was cruel and unforgiving.Blair's friends rushed to her side, offering their comfort and support. But nothing could ease the physical and emotional pain that she was going through. Blair could not stop thinking about how her life had taken a turn for the worse and how she had landed in this nightmare. The thought of being stuck in this cell forever, or worse, being executed during the packs ritual, made her ev
CHAPTER TWELVE The Escape Plan“Blair, I…I might have a plan for you to get out of here,” Liza announced.Blair looked up at her, surprised at what she said, she didn’t know what plan Liza was talking about but she was sure it could be the one to help her out of this mess.Blair sniffled, “Plan? W..What plan Liza?” She asked.“Yes Liza, what are you talking about?” That was Emily.“Blair can never adapt to this world Emily, she doesn’t deserve to be here and for that, we have to do something to get her out of this place,” Liza sighed, “We have to get her out of this cruel world.”“Don’t you think that will be dangerous?” Emily asked, “Remember what they did to you when you tried to escape, the last thing I want now is for us to put Blair in more danger, we can’t cause her more pain and you know that.”“I’m not saying we should cause her more pain Emily, but I honestly can’t keep seeing her in this state, Blair doesn’t deserve any of this. I mean none of us do, but she is still so you
CHAPTER THIRTEENThrown In The Dungeon Blair's heart sank as the guards dragged her back to the palace. She tried to free herself, but their grip was too strong. She felt hopeless and defeated, knowing that her attempt to escape had failed. As they walked through the palace gates, Blair's fear began to rise. She knew the punishment for escaping was severe, and she braced herself for what was to come. The guards pushed her through the palace halls, ignoring her cries and pleas for mercy. Blair's mind raced as she tried to think of a way out, but her thoughts were interrupted as they entered a large room. It was the throne room, and the alpha king was seated on his throne, looking down at her with a cold and calculating stare.Blair's knees buckled, and she fell to the ground, her head bowed in submission. She knew she had no chance against the powerful alpha king, and tears streamed down her face as she awaited her punishment. Ashier stood up and walked towards her, his expression har
CHAPTER FOURTEENWho Is My Mate?Ashier walked back to his chamber along with the guards and the pack witch, Alisha by his side.As they walked, Ashier's face contorted with pain and sweat broke out on his forehead. He felt a searing pain shooting through his back and chest, causing him to gasp for air. The pain felt like a thousand knives piercing his skin and he had to bite his lip to keep from crying out. He tried to compose himself, but his breathing became labored, and his steps faltered. He leaned heavily on Alisha for support, feeling weak and lightheaded. The pain was unbearable, and he knew that something was seriously wrong.Ashier clenched his jaw as the sharp pain pierced through his back, radiating to his chest. It felt like a thousand needles were pricking him at once. He tried to ignore it, thinking it was just his wound acting up again, but the pain continued to intensify. He felt as if his muscles were being ripped apart from the inside, and his breaths became labor

As your alpha king, I am here to listen to your concerns and offer solutions to the best of my abilities."Ashier's voice was strong and confident, but his mind was still preoccupied with thoughts of his mate. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong, that she was in danger and he needed to find her. But for now, he had to focus on the pack and their issues.“Your highness, this is the usual meeting before your birthday and the pack’s ritual,” one of the pack member stood up and said, “And as we discussed in the last meeting, we are yet to get the necessary things needed for the ritual.”“Yes, Your highness,” said another member of the pack, “You promised to find a solution to the problem before this meeting and here we are Your highness, we can’t possibly cancelthe ritual again.Ashier sighed, his mind bac
CHAPTER SIXTEENSuccessful PlanNora looked down again, "I'm sorry, my king. I just thought...," she trailed off, unsure of what to say. She already know that Ashier would be angry when he gets to know what she did, but she was ready to face him.“What the hell did you do!” Ashier barked, his eyes blazing with anger.“What you have been stopping us from doing,” Nora retorted, “We had sex Ashier. You are my mate and I don’t think that is bad.”Ashier staggered back, he couldn’t believe it.Ashier's eyes were blazing with fury, and his voice was hoarse as he yelled at Nora. He grabbed her hand and pinned her hand to the wall, his grip was so tight that it was almost painful."How dare you?" he bellowed. "You had no right to do this to me, Nora. I trusted you, and you took advantage of me."Nora's face remained impassive, and she didn't even flinch at his words. She believed she was right, and nothing he said would change her mind."You needed help, Ashier," she said calmly. "And I was t
