The Secret Army

Ralph opened his eyes slowly, feeling the warmth of the sun on his face. The afternoon soon was unusually warm, giving him a sense of hope that everything would be fine and his wishes would be met soon.

As he turned to his side, he saw Eva sleeping peacefully beside him, naked and without worry. They were one now even without proper mating and acceptance ceremony, she was his only family and he was going to make a bigger family with him, he was going to be a father soon. He smiled and leaned over, gently kissing her forehead before pulling her closer to him. His hands tightly wrapped around her, giving him the comfort she wanted.
