Unification

Baylor POV

I went back to the pack house to grab a quick shower before the unification of the pack. I didn’t really have special occasion clothing, but I figured I should at least be clean and presentable for the event. ‘Delania?’ I mind-linked. ‘Yes Baylor?’ she replied. ‘What are you wearing for the ceremony?’ ‘I have one kinda simple dress, hopefully it isn’t too plain.’ ‘Can’t be any worse than my clean pair of jeans and a button up shirt.’

‘Actually, I think it suits us just fine Baylor. We aren’t fancy people and the whole pack has very little, so I think dressy would be too much.’ ‘You’re probably right. I guess I might be overthinking it. I just don’t want our people to think this isn’t important to us.’ ‘Our people already love you, Baylor. You’re fair, kind and take care of their basic needs. I think they will be thrilled with the fact that the ceremony is happening.’ ‘You’re perfect. You know that, right?’ ‘Well if that’s true, can your perfect mate wash your back for you
