Chapter 10

Daisy was dragged to the palace. It was her first time in here, yet she appeared as a murderer.

Why do I always get into trouble? Why do I keep giving him more and more reason to hate me? Daisy's heart sank, a sense of powerlessness spread over her.

The Alpha King was busy writing the scrolls but the shouts distracted him. He stood up to the window, and found Daisy being escorted by guards into his palace. Her clothes were all ragged. People are shouting at her, calling her a “murderer.”

Silence descended as Alpha Damon left his inner chamber to attend to the issue. He sat on his throne looking as furious as ever. Meridith smiled victoriously. She stepped forward and took her stand behind the king's throne. A corner of her eyes admired the empty queen throne beside him.

"Very soon it will be ours" Tiana cheered in joy.

"I know. Now, let's wait for the judgment to be served, " said Meridith excitedly.

"My King......" Domenico called firmly with a slight bow.

"Say it," Damon commanded
