Avery Elise’s P. O. V.

I quickly distance myself from Zack, afraid that someone might see us and will think of something else about us. I cleared my throat before I stand straight in front of him.

“I-I’m sorry…” I heard him say before he took two steps away from me.

I look up at him before I force myself to smile at him despite the awkward atmosphere around us.

“Ah… H-How have you been?” I held my hands together while looking at him.

Now that I get to see him alone, I suddenly remember how I would always react around him before. I silently observe my feelings and all I feel is nothing else but pure casualty around us. Far from what I would always feel when he used to be my mate.

“Hell..” He said with no emotion in his voice.
