Ch 6

Ezekiel’s POV

The new beginning seemed to be etched with new twists and turns. When I was thinking that now no one can come in between me and Alessia, there comes my best friend and beta Oliver Crimson.

I have been obsessed with Alessia for as long as I remember. Now that she was within my grasp which is only increasing my desire to have her right beside me. 

I watched her encounter with Oliver. Even though they were talking in low terms, I could see how rude she was towards him. I was furious when Oliver bullied her. No one has the right to bully her other than myself. I can’t stand it.

“Interesting” I muttered as I watched she finally stalked off. Oliver looked like he was challenging her or something. I need to find out what is their history while I was away. I dropped a message to Mark to background check what I just saw.

“What is interesting?” Ellie stepped in beside me. 

“Nothing” was all I replied. Why doesn’t she get the hint that I am least interested in her. After losing my cousin in an attack, she has been trying to gain my attention so that she can become the Luna. She has no idea about how obsessed I am over my mate.

Curse or not, I will have her. I will make her want me to the point that she can resist. With a smirk, I walked inside and ended the party. I was already pissed of at Jordan as it is. How dare he touch what was mine. I decided to give them a fair warning.

Walking straight up to Jordan, I picked him by the scuff of his collar “Next time you pull a stunt like that, you will face your worse nightmare” 

I looked around and gave Leo a look as well. He frowned at me “Even though she is your chosen mate, you sat back and watched as we started the game. Why not stop us at the start itself?”

“That’s none of your business. What I do with Alessia is up to me to decide. You guys can play with her but not touch her. She is mine” my voice came out strong and with a hint of warning in it to not get on my bad side. Some of the pack members shivered with my intense gaze. But not my Alessia. She faced me head on.

That’s the thing I like about her. She has got that spunk in her which will turn me on by just looking at those fiery eyes as she glared daggers at me. 

Ugh, I cannot get enough of her. In order to not embarrass myself further, I dismissed all of them and decided to relieve myself with the memory of Alessia. Someone would think me as a pervert. If only they knew the extent of my desire to be with her, they would cower away in fear. I will tame Alessia my way and have her right beside me.

I was just resting when I heard a loud painful howl. In instance my feet took me towards the window. I jumped out and shifted mid air knowing it was my mate’s howl.

She is upset. I need to be closer to her. I reached on the opposite of the clearing where is a big lake. There on the opposite side was my mate lying on only a shirt. With my night vision, I could clearly see that she was trying to take a nap.

What the hell?

Isn't she scared?

Or is this not her first time?

Because the dress she is wearing look different then what she wore for the party. I cannot really go near her and scare her. I was watching her when suddenly I felt two werewolves from my packs jumping out of the bushes. 

I let out a loud warning howl to alert them. They snapped their head in my direction and shivered as I growled at them. That howl made my mate to wake up from her short slumber.

By then those wolves disappeared in the bushes. After that I turn my focus on my mate only to find her staring at me

 We had a staring contest for sometime before she went back to sitting on her place. I frowned when she did not even fear me. She has not see my wolf, so I don't know how is she being so careless?

I sighed in relief when she got up and left after sometime.

I need to ask mark to keep an eye out in this territory.

The next morning, I woke up fresh and happy. Back in the foreign academy of werewolf’s none ever satisfied me. They were just the one to give me temporary release. Of course, I am no saint while I waited for Alessia. I also know that once we do the ceremony, she will be mine and I will be hers.  

I went to the pack house to meet my dad. It was quite early and I had ton of things to do. Reaching the pack, I parked my bike and went inside. Mom and dad were in the office. The breakfast was already over.

“Good morning mom, dad” I greeted mom with a quick kiss on her cheek. She beamed at me. A smile that always lights up my day. They are the best parents I could have ever asked for except for whenever dad gets angry, he can’t seem to control his anger. Mon has long back accepted him with his flaw. Through the years, dad tried to change for our sake.

“We have got news for you” dad’s tone was serious.

“What is it?” I asked sitting on the edge of my seat.

“Alpha Alex gave me a call this morning. They asked us to meet so that we can discuss important details”

“Details which cannot be discussed on the phone” mom offered when I looked for more information.

“I see” I clicked my tongue. I hope Alessia did not diss me out in front of her parents. Things will look bad on my side and cannot let that happen.

“Did everything go okay during yesterday’s party?” dad inquired wit knitted eyebrows.

I straightened. They have after all asked me to be careful and not hurt Alessia.

“Nothing that will create a problem in this union” I assured him.

“Do I take your word?” he raised his eyebrows at me.

“We merely played a game. I can’t help it if she did not take it sportingly” I shrugged my shoulder in response.

“Oh no” mom muttered with a disapproval look.

“What did you do?” dad glared at me.

“I sat back and watched as some of my friend’s bullied her” I explained.

Dad got up and threw the things that were on the table. He is not best when it comes to handling his anger. 

“Christopher” mom moved away.

“I am sorry. Did I hurt you honey?” he looked at mom with concern gaze.

“I am fine” mom muttered.

“Dad, I did try to help her when things got out of hand. I don’t want to get to much attached to her as we know it will make things messier due to the curse” I explained.

“She is going to be your Luna, your chosen mate. You cannot let others bully her. That poor child, we have seen her grow up in a beautiful young woman. If things weren’t the way like they are, we would have genuinely wanted you both to live like mates” 

“That poor girl, she had to face so much due to the curse” mom murmured with a sad face.

“What did she face?” I don’t know what all she had been went through since the curse.

“She was bullied in her own pack. No one wants to be friends with her. The packs whom she was mated to cut ties with Alpha Alex and his pack. They also started spreading hate to dethrone Alpha Alex. But as he was strongest and can take down anyone, the position was still his. In the summit, he has connection with the elders so no one could affect him” mom explained to me.

“I see” I muttered not at all pleased to hear that.

“Don’t worry mom, dad. Now that I am back, we will both take good care of the pack and be the strongest” I assure them. 

Mom smiled at me whereas dad gave approving nod “I knew we could count on you to take care of things”

“Anyways, when are we leaving?” I got up.

“Today evening for dinner” dad informed me.

“I will be ready by six” I informed them.

“Alright. Don’t be late” dad called out as I left the office.

That evening I got ready on time and went downstairs. Mom and dad were already waiting for me.

“Ready?” mom looked my way as I descend the final steps.

“Yup” I nod at her.

We reached Midnight shadow pack. I looked around and found little children playing in the garden. It was snowing as it is winter already. Christmas is just around the corner. And we will be going to have the ceremony before that.

Mom and dad already went inside. I was about to follow them when I heard a voice. Turning in the direction I watched her playing with the children. I frowned when I saw her wrist was under a small wrist cast.

“Was this because of yesterday?” my sudden appearance startled her and she jumped a little.

She grimaced when the jumping hurt her wrist which I was holding.

“Get lost Ezekiel. I don’t even want to see your jerk face” she snapped.

“Bad word, bad word” the children kept repeating.

“Hush, go and play” she made them play and the tried to walk past me.

“I asked you something” I followed her. She ignored me. I love her man. I like this feisty attitude of hers.

“Alessia” suddenly I picked her and threw her above my shoulder. Many watched us as I went behind the pack and finally put her down. All the way, she had been hitting me to let her down. I moved the hairs away from her face.

“Did this happen yesterday?” I murmured. My voice dangerously low.

“What do you think?” she snapped angrily.

“I am sorry” I apologized. She tried to take her hand back. I gave her a look. her breath hitched when I leaned down and placed a kiss on her wrist where she was hurting.

“What are you doing?” she murmured.  

“Now it will be healed” I muttered.

“You cannot just walk away like that” she snapped when I turned to go. I stalk back towards her and her back hit the wall. Her chest rose up and down with every breath she took. It bought my incarnate desire for her to surface. Suddenly I pressed into her. She gasped.

“Did you feel it?” I pressed harder.

“stop” she was all red in the face.

“Oh Alessia, you don’t even know the things I want to do with you” her eyes widened. Taking that as a cue, I took her lips in a soul shattering kiss.

Picking her up, her back touched the wall as she wrapped her legs around my waist. I gave my all into the kiss and she did not disappoint me. We tugged and played with each other until I felt I could not take it anymore. Groaning I moved back, the chemistry was evident between us. I realized that she wanted me as much as I want her.

“What was that all about?” she gasped when I steadied her on her legs.

“A taste” was all I said with a smirk before walking off.

I laughed when she screamed my name for making her all hot and bothered.
