Alessia's POV

“Here we are” I snapped out of my thoughts to find us already outside Ava’s house.

“Thank you” I leaned in and pecked him on the lips. His lips stretched into a smile.

When he was not ready to leave, I chuckled and moved back.

“Later baby” I murmured.

“A promise?” he asked.

“We will see” I smirked cheekily.

“Should I come to pick you up later?” He inquired.

“Maybe I will take a run today,” I said instead.

“Are you sure?” Concern reflected in his eyes.

“Dont worry. I will be fine” I assured him.

“Or should I send Mark?” He asked, still not sure.

“Just chill. I can manage” I assured him once again.

“Alright, if you insist I won't send anyone. Just be careful and keep your mind link open” he instructed.

“Off you go now” I got out of the car and waved bye to him. He waved back and drove away.

I opened the gates and went towards the front steps. The door however was unlocked. I guess she must be waiting for me.

“Ava” I called out the moment I entered inside.
