Forever With Me.

“Lyon?

Man, you've seriously got to be kidding me. I frowned at his charming-looking face.

“Hi Livia, to what do I owe the pleasure of seeing you?” he surprisingly asked as though he had no idea I was transferred here…

“I work here, and what gives you the right to follow me? I am no longer interested in the contract or anything that has to do with … a wolf” I moved two steps back, remembering my last encounter with him and what he looked like.

“Oh come on,

Follow you?

I own the entire place; I have lots of businesses in the human city,” I watched him walk past his table in my direction. Tall and very intimidating.

“I see; I will take my leave and seek another job then”, I stammered, as if finding another job in Brimstole City wasn't hard enough.

I moved backwards as he got closer to me; unknowingly, I landed my back on the white wall.

“Don't you dare come any further, Mr Lyon” I fearfully conjoined my words.

“I would never hurt you, Livia,” his voice calm, his green eyes looking innocent. Taking a final step, enough to be able to touch me.

“Then let me go now,” I said firmly.

Slowly, He took my two hands and placed them on the wall. As I struggled to get out of his grip, he effortlessly pinned them on the wall with his left hand.

“What do you want from me?” I shouted.

“You know what I want from you,

We both need each other,” he said, slightly lifting my chin.

“No, Not anymore, I don't need you,” I glared at him with furious eyes as I was unable to move from his grip.

“Because I'm a wolf?”

“Hell yeah, you are no human,” I blurted out.

“I guess you are missing the reality here, Livia,

You are my wife and I own you,” Bringing out the ring I gave him as a cue.

“I was wrong; I was a fool for proposing to a complete stranger that I knew nothing about, I….” Before I could complete my next rant, He slid his other hand slowly from my lower belly up to my neck. I couldn't help but breathe out heavily at that, caressing and holding my neck firmly. I felt his lips brush my lower lips in a tender motion.

My eyes widened as if it was my first kiss.

“Mister Ly-on…” That was the only thing that escaped my lips at the moment, not kissing him back and not also rejecting his kiss, this was crazy.

He stopped kissing me and stared at my brows back to my dark eyes and my mouth as though he was taking note of my facial features.

“Perhaps wolves have hearts, too; I'm not as awful as you think I am; I wish you no harm,” He said, releasing the hands he had held hostage for the past ten minutes.

“You can't run away from me, you have to finish what you started,” He said, adjusting his blue suit and moving away from me.

A loud bang on the door intruded my conclusion.

Without getting a “Come in” answer from the CEO. A beautiful blond-looking lady with a banging body walked in.

“Hi babe,” she said, planting a light kiss on his cheeks.

“Hello Melissa, I told my driver to pick you up at the resort,” He said with a straight face.

“So much for ignoring my calls for the whole day?” she frowned at him.

“I had a busy day Lissa,” He said unapologetically.

“Seriously?

You had me sitting for hours waiting for you and this is all you can come up with?”

“I'm sorry babe, I will treat you to dinner,” he smiled at her as the bodyguard entered to walk them outside.

“Good idea” Her head swerved towards my direction, suddenly noticing my existence in the room.

“Oh who is the nerd?” she shrugged.

“That's Livia Steel, one of the new accountants who just got transferred,” He glanced at me and walked out with her.

I could hear the sound of my heels as it echoed off the ground. I ignored the buses at the bus terminal and decided to walk.

Taking a long walk to my apartment was not the best of ideas, but I needed to get rid of the anger that suddenly grew in me by releasing some sweat.

“If he was seeing another woman, why does he need me?

I'm just an accountant that just got transferred,”

I yapped out angrily, I was hurt that he denied me, that he was seeing another woman. Someone better than me in every aspect.

I was not the one to be jealous of other women but the way we made love days ago and the way he kissed me minutes ago, the memories were messing with my head.

“This is just a month's contract; I cannot be mad that he has a real relationship”, I warned myself.

As I kept on walking and thinking, I felt someone following me.

“Can today get any worse?” Fear gripped me as I paused.

The unknown man also stopped moving.

I looked around and there didn't seem to be people on the road. Scared and frustrated at the same time, I zipped my half-opened bag and held it tightly with my underarms, guessing it was a thief and aiming to fight and jump at him with my failed taekwondo skills. I confidently turned back.

“You?” I surprisingly screamed.

“ Hi baby,” Davon waved and smiled, with a bouquet in his hand.

“Do you want to explain why you are following me or do I need to call the cops on you?”

“Come on, you wouldn't do that, we've been lovers for years,”

“And you've been fucking my best friend for years,” I shut at him.

“Babe, I know I messed up; you didn't deserve any of this; you have always loved and cared for me, and all I did was pay you back with nothing but my foolishness” he came closer, stretching the rose at me.

“I looked at him with so much anger, for allowing myself to blindly fall for someone as selfish as Davon,” I collected the flower and threw it at his face.

“Appear in front of me again and I will either kill you or call the cops on you,” I walked off angrily. My heart was heavy as tears fell from my eyes.

I heard his footsteps running towards me.

“How do I win your love back, my darling, Livia Steels?”
