Astrid's POV

I thought I was clear with my instructions since the day one but for some reason, there was always a flaw in my gaurds and there would always be something that went wrong then.

"Let me ask you again," I spoke, looking at the gaurd who was supposed to be standing and protecting the window of Yuna's prison, but for some reason, he was not there when she disappeared.

His eyes were red and puffy due due to too much tears that shed the previous day and the lack of sleep and physically drained him. If it was some other time, I would have felt bad because he was werewolf just like me. I should not hurt anyone who never hurt someone else or had any bad intentions for anyone. But I was too angry to consider any rightful thoughts.

It was his fault for being so ignorant to any foreign invader. If he does not learn his lesson now, then I was afraid there would even be an army of human soldiers coming towards the palace and he would be in some corner, attending a stupid
