Leo was so furious and confused, and I couldn’t really blame him; most of it was my fault. Especially after seeing the missed calls on my phone, even though I never really heard my phone ring, even just once.

“Do you know how worried I was when you wouldn’t answer my calls?” Leo asked even though he wasn’t really looking for answers. “I called you so many times and to think that I was only able to call you during the afternoon I was expecting that you would be able to answer my call but no, you were so busy with whatever fuck it was that you are doing that you didn’t even think of sending me a message to let me know that you’re fucking alive!”

I closed my eyes as I tried my best to control the anger surging inside of me, even though all I wanted was to retort and tell him that he also forgot to send me a message.
