3- Rogue

Maya's POV

I've gone rogue. I've been out of the Red Moon Pack for three years. I assumed leaving that pack would make everything tough, but I was incorrect. I have good self-control. My aunt had taught me how to make a potion, and it came in handy. It allows me to simply conceal my scent. My wolf scent became so strong after my 18th birthday that I had to resort to spraying that potion.

My feet carry me to a cabin in the woods the instant I leave the pack's area. There dwells a witch, who also happens to be a friend of my aunt's. She informed me that even a witch couldn't find her cabin, so she taught me how to become a powerful witch as a prize for locating her.

In the past three years, I have been harnessing my witch power as well as my wolf strength. Fae had been in good shape and ready to protect ourselves at any time. I still went to the neutral territory to have an actual fight practice.

I pay Gamma Andrew a visit every now and again in the pack. I wanted to check up on him and tell him how I was doing. You're probably wondering how we do things properly. I practically jumped into the pack. I disguise my fragrance while using an invincibility potion.

I remember the first time I did that. He was super shocked. He had a feeling that I was something but not this something. He told me then that A**hole Nick had been too weak since I left. Gamma Andrew thought that because we had rejected each other and I left the pack, his wolf had become weaker.

It is said that his wolf had been telling him not to bang another shewolf and claim me as his mate, but the a**hole was stubborn enough to defy him. After 3 years, Alpha Roden is still the Alpha of the Red Moon Pack. He had been looking among the pack members who would be good enough to replace him.

I was sitting on Gamma Andrew's couch when I heard him.

"You're here. You wouldn't believe what I would be telling you---,

What is that? "

I didn't know what he was talking about, so I asked him.

"What?" I asked as he approached and smelled me.

"Hey, what are you doing?"

" It's not you. Tell me, where is she? "

"Who?"

"The scent lingers around you." I smelled myself and remembered Anita, my aunt's best friend, who hugged me before I left the cabin.

"Ohhh, it was from Anita, my aunt's friend, that I talked to you about."

"Bring me to her," he said hoarsely.

"Halt, wait, calm yourself. What is it about? "

"The owner of that scent, my wolf, was running around." She's my mate!! "

"Oh my Goddess, is it true?"

"Yeah, can't you read my thoughts?"

I mean, whenever it was essential, I learnt to read or hear people's minds. "Even before I left the pack, I managed to close my mind to everyone save yours when I talked to you in our minds," I explained.

"You really are something. Anyway, I need to see her. I won't be at peace if I am not with her. "

"Fine, but you know she would not come and live with you here." I am telling you this in advance." As I said that, he looked at me worriedly.

"Before you worry, let's go to her first."

"OK," he agreed, and I held him and said a few incantations. We were in the cabin. There he met Anita. I left the two alone to talk. I don't know if Anita will come to him ever. I don't know if Gamma Andrew would be willing to leave the pack to be with her. Well, I just let them decide for themselves.

While I was waiting for them to finish their business, I decided to go to neutral land. There will be an event where I can win a super prize. It's not that I don't have money, but big prizes mean strong opponents.

The stronger the opponent, the stronger I become. Fae was merciless. I wonder what she would be like in front of our mate. I don't like any mates anymore, but she likes to have one. We had talked about this and agreed that we should give it a try.

She likes to feel safe in the arms of our mate. I was telling her that we could manage, but still, she wanted it.

Going to neutral land would take a long time. I can teleport, but I don't just use it sensibly. So, I decided to take the shortcut. It was located in the northern part of the Blood Moon Pack. It was said that the alpha there was fierce and the strongest among alphas.

I usually take this route because there is no guard assigned to this area. Maybe because it was dangerous here and no werewolves would be sane enough to use this route.

I put down my guard as I knew the place. I was running in my wolf form and Fae was happy and delighted. She liked to run, and she felt like she was getting stronger the more she came out.

I was near the steep hill when a wolf jumped at me. I was pinned to the ground, but I managed to get out of the wolf. I stand on my fours and bare my neck for submission. I want to let them know that I mean no harm. Fae didn't want to do this, but I still did. I don't want unnecessary fighting. The wolf, who had a beta aura, shifted and said "shift."

My eyes grew wide when I saw how good looking the beta was. His body was very masculine. I saw him still looking at me and heard him say, "shift!!"

Although I could shift in front of them, I avoided it. I don't want anyone to know that I was fully clothed when I shifted to my human form. I always bring a bag with me as a prop. I went behind the tree and shifted. I wasted a few minutes, so they would think that I needed to wear my clothes first.

After a few minutes, I went out behind the tree and talked to them.

"Oh, you are already dressed. I thought I could still have a look, you know..." I said with a shy smile on my face. Before they could get any idea, I started to explain to them why I was in their territory.

"I mean you do no harm. I just wanted to go to the other side and this is the shortcut." I said with a pleading voice. I can see that they did not believe in me. With a shy look, the wolf with a beta aura told me, "I'm sorry, you are a rogue and our pack detains rogues for questioning." Whether you mean no harm or not depends on our alpha. I will call him here. " After that, his eyes dilated and it looked like he had zoned out. I decided to read his thoughts, and there I found his mind linked to the Alpha.

"Alpha will be here in a few minutes. This part of the pack territory was far from the pack house, "he added.

We stayed there, and I did not do anything. I can take them down, but I can see and tell that they are not like any other pack members who just go berserk at the sight of a rogue.

"Added to that, I am stopping you for acting stupid, you know." Fae told me in our thoughts.

"So tell me, why are you so giddy?" I asked her.

"I don't know. I want to see their alpha. I had a feeling that something was going to happen."

"OK if that's what you want. But, what about the event? You know there might be a strong opponent that could make you come out? "

"Don't worry, I have a feeling this is more important."

She said, and right there and then, I smelled it. It's the scent of the morning dew. Ahhhh... it smells so good. I was trying to locate it until I saw him. The most handsome man I ever laid my eyes on

Fae is now jumping with joy.

"Mate!! It's mate! Claim him NOW! " Fae said eagerly.

"Hey, calm down. We don't even know if he would want us. "

"Oh my Goddess, we sprayed a potion to hide our scent." He won't be able to know we're his. We have to stay here. Make sure to stay here until the potion wears off. " Fae said excitedly.

"OK," I murmured as I turned to face the approaching alpha. He was dressed in cargo shorts and a white V-neck t-shirt. His hair was jet black, and he had a strong jaw. His immaculate high nose made me believe that none of his past opponents had been fortunate enough to hit him there. His hazelnut-colored orbs were thin. MINE was the man in front of me.

Because I knew his was, I decided to read his thoughts and was happy to know what was on his mind.
