Axel was delighted as I shifted back and put on my clothes to make my way to Kiki's. It was past ten o'clock. What was she doing at this time?
Reading a book maybe?
Or was she thinking about me?
It was her birthday, so did she go to a different place to celebrate after the club we were at? This thought put me in unrest as I neared her home. If she dances with anyone in close proximity, it should be me, and only me.

I tapped on her bedroom window gently to draw her attention. Her parents seemed to be home. I just needed a peek.
