Every bit of my body was spasming under my skin. There was a lot of commotion happening around me, but I was feeling too weak to open my eyes. Just lifting those eyelids was taking a lot of effort.
I had no idea how long I had been lying on the ground like this, smelling blood and death all around. Hot pain shot up through my arms as I tried to move.
