Chapter 15

Anna is a businesswoman. 

Even though she isn’t crazy like other people doing business, she loves to do it.

So when she saw her daughter is also good at doing things, she felt relieved. After all, she wanted her daughter to inherit her business.

Bella, who was serving, looked at the certain table, which was now empty; she frowned when she saw this.

These two people were visiting the cafe yesterday; they would sit down after drinking, they wouldn’t leave immediately, either looking around or just surfing through their mobile.

Why she was concerned is from yesterday, seeing them, her heart isn’t calm, especially that man, who has midnight black eyes, and hair, and one foot taller than other men, with an aura of a King.

Whenever she saw him, she would feel weird and attracted towards him.

So today, they both were sitting there just a moment ago when she was serving. Just before she received the phone, she was looking at them, now suddenly they both disappeared, which is strange.

She slowly walked towards the table,

She doesn’t know why she did, but6 she felt that she should do so, so when she went, she saw something on the table, money for their two black coffees and pastries they had ordered. Seeing the situation on the table, they didn’t eat anything.

In two cups of coffee, only one cup was half empty, another cup was untouched just like yesterday, but good thing the pastries were eaten.

But the money was given a little bit too much.

Bella thought, if they come tomorrow, she will not let them pay for the next order, but she doesn't know that many things will be changed when they meet again; maybe even she wouldn’t have expected this turn of events.

After taking money, she went to the counter, saw Mia was there,

“Hey Mia, the customer you are filling disappeared suddenly and left so much money; I think when they come next time, don’t take money for their order.” 

Bella said this to Mia,

“Huh? What? Who?” Mia was still immersed in the weird feeling which Bella’s Aunt Circe was giving 

“Two people who came yesterday and today also suddenly disappeared when they went towards their table. They left the money of their order on the table but left a little too much, so if they come next time, then don’t take money for what they ordered.”

Bella explained patiently; at that time, Olivia also came and looked at them or looked at Mia with great interest.

Maybe many people don’t know, but Olivia is a psychology graduate and a great reader. Her favorite genre is mystery and thrilling. She always reads detective novels like crazy. She is always accurate in reading the expressions of people.

She knows from yesterday, Mia is acting weird, and that is related to two handsome strangers.

When first she saw them she felt that they both are good-looking.

Still, after observation, she can see one of them is married or has a girlfriend because of calls and his behavior towards those calls. Another one… well, he has his eyes on Bella, but Olivia felt something very different from just interest he has in Bella, something more….. That is dangerous.

She wants to talk about this with Bella; after all, she doesn't know if those people are good or not, because when they first came, she actually sensed the dangerous aura from both those people, but she felt threatened by the guy who had the majesty of King.

She felt that person is in real danger; she can’t see what’s in his mind or what he really is; she felt that person’s mind is deep as water.

She felt fear from the depth of her heart towards this person.

Olivia has many things to talk about with Bella, one of these is to make her stay away from that person, but before that, Bella’s family came.

Now she has to wait until they leave; after all, she can’t disrupt the happy moments of Bella just because of her speculations even though she knows maybe that is the truth.

But now, seeing the way Bella acts towards those two people, she can be sure that Bella has no feelings for them because if there was, she could have detected the relation between Mia and those two people, and she would have asked Mia about them already.

As she knows Bella is frank and honest in these things, if she were interested in that person, she would have asked already; this is the only thing that made her reassured.

So she decided to wait, but she doesn’t know that her wait only made things turn in another direction which she never fixed, and this thing actually made a big difference between their friendship and made the trio choose their sides.

“Okay, no problem, if they come back tomorrow, then I will not charge them” it’s not like they are short of money to give them back this money; maybe for them, this isn’t really much.

Mia didn’t say aloud in the last few sentences, but her heart already sneered at the two men.

When they are talking about, suddenly heard,

“Bella, order, one sandwich, and one mocha” 

Anna said while putting the order paper down on the table.

“Mom, why are you taking orders? And why aren’t you taking a rest like Aunt and running around here?” Bella asked incredulously.

“Nah, Bella, I am getting bored anyway, and I have rested well enough on the plane, so I thought of helping you girls at work. Don’t worry about me. I am quite enjoying this.”

 Anna knows her daughter is merely worried about her and doesn’t want to see her mother doing things like this, but she is also enjoying these things quite well.

Because when she was in office, she could either sign the paper or hold meetings over meetings, but here she felt relaxed and free.

She loved this, even felt envious of her daughter, even thought of making her take over the company and leave this cafe to her.

But she knows she can’t be like that; after all, her daughter has suffered many things because of her, and doesn’t want to make her daughter sad if did, then she has not only to face her own consciousness also have to face her sister Circe’s wrath, it’s better to endure those empty-minded big belly shareholders for few more years.

“Mom still…” Bella tried to pursued her

“I know, I know what you want to say, but really I am enjoying this, at least better than frying my head in front of those idiots in the office, and I am quite envious of you, you know,” Anna said with a smile on her face even though she said she is envious, but there isn’t a single thread of envious or jealous in her eyes.

“Mom, really?” Bella joked with Anna

Both mother and daughter are happily talking and laughing, but Mia and Olivia didn’t disturb their moment.

“Mom, really, how come you guys are here?”  Bella asked as they both sat in the innermost table placed near the counter, but the wall actually covered it, so not many can see this seat, but from here, anyone can see what's happening in the whole cafe.

“After your phone call, my sister seemed to be pale. She was lifeless. She kept saying she wanted to meet you. What did you guys say which made her so restless?” Even though Anna knows the truth, she can’t openly say this.

Bella was taken aback; she didn’t know her words brought so much reaction from her Aunt, but why?

She didn’t say anything other than seeing….seeing the wolves.

But what is there to be so upset and worried about?

Isn’t she alive and kicking? Then why his Aunt was worried that she and mom would run here.

“I don’t know Mom, I called her as usual and talked some, and I also informed her about the incident where we encountered wolves, but I didn’t see any problem in that, in the end, we are safe that’s matters, but I didn’t even now understand what there to take so much to heart, I am……… I feel bad like that, Mom'' Bella felt really bad. 

When her Aunt entered the cafe, her complexion wasn't good, she was moody, and her furrowed eyes could tell that she was grumpy. She knows her Aunt well to know her Aunt hasn't had rest for a few days, but she doesn’t know that she was worried about the phone call she made and even flew here, which is both a happy and sad thing.
