Where's She

KYLE'S POV

I squinted my brows as I looked amongst the crowd searching for a particular figure. Looking closely I noticed that I couldn't find the figure.

No, that shouldn't be happening. I frowned and sat well then looked again closely only to see that the figure I was looking for was missing.

"Guards." I frowned calling out to the guards who were by my side.

"Yes, Alpha." The guards answered as they rushed over.

"Where's that maid?" I frowned.

"She should be amongst the crowd serving drinks and food." One of the guards replied.

"Bring her out," I commanded.

The guards nodded and went into the crowd to look for her.

"Sir, we can't find her." The guards bowed, not daring to look into my eyes.

Hearing this, a smirk appeared at the corner of my mouth. It was just as I had thought, she had run away when I was least expecting it. Since there was a festival in the pack, she was able to slip away quite easily without anyone noticing.

But then she couldn't have gone far. Since she wanted to escape without causing a commotion, she was going to have to go south which seemed like a quite wise choice as it was the longest route to leave the pack and no one in their right mind would want to follow that way.

"Everyone should head back, the festival has ended." I frowned and announced to the crowd.

"Guards, gather here." I continued as if I could care less about anything.

That maid couldn't escape, I was yet to have my revenge. Her parents were the ones who killed my parents so naturally, their daughter had to pay the price for their deeds.

Even though I had killed her parents and destroyed the pack, my anger was nowhere satisfied, I wanted to torture her to death. I wanted her to regret her very existence, even though I had been making the pack hell for her day and night, it was nowhere enough.

"Evelyn has escaped, and I'm sure she's not out of the pack yet, search for her and make sure to bring her back." I frowned, staring at the guards.

"Yes sir." The guards nodded and left to carry out my others.

A smile appeared on my lips as I watched them rush out to carry out the task. I just couldn't wait for them to capture her.

Although something told me they were going to be rather unsuccessful, then it was better to watch and see what was going to happen.

But then even if she was able to escape, the Alpha of the other pack wasn't going to tolerate a rogue barging into his pack and was going to probably have her locked up.

Either case, she was still going to suffer no matter where she went as no one would be willing to accept a rogue wolf.

"Sir." A voice came bringing me out of my thoughts.

"What's wrong?"

"Sir, we couldn't find her, it seems as if she has already left the territory of the pack." The guard bowed.

"Are you sure you searched well?" I frowned as a feeling of displeasure arose in my heart.

There was no way she would have escaped in a shirt a short amount of time I was sure of it.

"Yes sir." The guard nodded.

"Useless being." I cursed, releasing my aura which pressed down on the guard.

"I don't care how you're going to do it, all I know is that I want you to find her and bring her back, she's not out of this pack yet!" I growled.

"Yes....yes sir..." The guard shuttered as he shivered.

"Now get out of my sight!"

Immediately, the guards stood up and left. At the moment, I was annoyed. How the hell was she able to escape?

No, I was sure of the fact that she hadn't escaped, she was still somewhere in the pack. It was just that the guards were too useless to tell where she was.

The more I thought about it, the angrier I got. I was going to make sure she went through hell once I caught her back, there was no way she was going to live peacefully.

It seems like I had been too lenient on her that was why she had dared to think of running away. After a while, I couldn't take it anymore.

The guards were just too incompetent and if I didn't intervene, she was going to slip away. I couldn't allow this to happen, I had to catch and bring her back to the pack.

She wasn't going to leave, she had to feel the pain I felt when her parents killed my parents. She had to bear all their sins or else I was never going to be satisfied.

Thinking about this, I flashed from where I was, heading to the path I was quite sure she would have followed.
