My hands shook as I walked out of the house, practically running out of it, wanting to be anywhere but here.

Inna’s words played in my head, reminding me of words that Eleanor used to tell me when I was a kid asking my father for anything that didn’t include necessities, hell, even necessities had to be calculated when I wanted to get any of them.

The way Inna had looked at me was almost similar to the way Eleanor did. Her forcing me to call her mum was something that I could never forgive her for, and making me do it to get anything I wanted was something that I would never forget.
