Jamari’s POV“Some might call you foolish for letting Howard off so easily, my lady.” Nodding my head in agreement, I walk out of the door without looking around at the disapproving faces of the rest of Lucern’s council members. Lucern’s POV“No one is here.” A disappointed look appears on Sabina’s face as we make our way into Howard’s hidden office that only a select few people are able to access. As we look around the large room, we find no one in sight, but I can sense my mate’s scent somewhere in this room, so I know she is here.
