Elena’s POV

Steam curled gently from the porcelain cup in my hand, rising in delicate spirals before dissolving into the air.

I brought the cup to my lips and took a slow sip, letting the warmth settle across my tongue, grounding me in something that felt normal unlike everything else that had begun to unravel in the estate.

I lowered the cup onto its saucer with a soft clink as silence filled the room again.

I exhaled softly through my nose as I thought of that despicable Rio Vorthrane.

  • Alpha Vorthrane's Pet   A Debt Remembered

Rio’s POVLogan had already warmed up the engine by the time I stepped outside. The low purr of the car’s engine was satisfying.I adjusted my sleeve as I approached, glancing briefly at the sleek black vehicle parked near the entrance.“Nice choice,” I muttered.Logan smirked slightly.“It has always been a personal favourite, even though Alpha Kael would kill me if i tried something like that” he said."I'm sure he would,” I replied casually. He opened the door for me and I slid into the driver’s seat without hesitation. The leather felt good beneath my fingers as I rested one hand on the wheel.Behind me, Tristan approached.“I’m coming with you” he said.I didn’t even look back.“No, you’re not. You have work to do" I replied. The engine hummed as I adjusted the rearview mirror. He sighed.“I already finished what you asked.”“Then do more.”A pause.“Rio—”I finally turned my head slightly, glancing at him over my shoulder.“You’re supposed to be making friends with Liora” I remi

  • Alpha Vorthrane's Pet   Bound by Authority

Alpha Kael’s POVThe estate moved around me in quiet obedience.Footsteps softened, voices lowered and eyes dropped like they always did when I moved through. I preferred it that way.“Report.”The word left my mouth without pause as I continued walking.Beside me, the estate overseer, one of the high-ranking wolves responsible for operations within the grounds, kept pace with me, his eyes fixed on the tablet he held tightly in his hands.“Yes, Alpha,” he responded quickly. “Everything is proceeding as scheduled.”I didn’t look at him.“Then why do I sense hesitation in your voice?” I asked. There was a brief silence before he gave me his answer. “We had an incident earlier today” he replied. That made me slow down slightly. My gaze slowly drifted to him for some time, not long, but enough for him to feel it.“What kind of incident?” I asked. His voice lowered.“It was Liora, my Alpha” he answered. The name alone was enough to tighten something in my chest.“What about her?”“She w

The bastard's words replayed in my mind, each one laced with that irritating calmness he always carried, as though nothing could truly unsettle him.I set the cup down more firmly this time.“Preposterous,” I muttered under my breath. There was no way that Liora could ever stand where I stood.A sharp breath left me as I leaned back in my seat.“This is nonsense,” I said aloud, as if saying it would make it more true. And yet, even as I spoke the words, a small, stubborn part of me refused to settle

  • Alpha Vorthrane's Pet   A Bargain with the Beast

Liora’s POVThe air outside felt lighter, cleaner but it didn’t help because the moment Fay pulled me out of the cold, suffocating darkness of the dungeon, the images didn’t leave. They followed me.I swallowed hard, my chest tightening as we walked back through the corridors. My steps felt slower now, heavier, like something inside me had shifted and refused to settle back into place.“Keep moving,” Fay said quietly, her hand still wrapped around mine but her grip had softened, just slightly like she understood what that place did to people.I didn’t respond, I couldn’t because my mind was still there, still trapped in those dim cells, still replaying everything I had seen.“That’s what he does,” I whispered finally. My voice sounded distant, even to me.Fay didn’t answer immediately. We turned a corner, moving back toward the more polished parts of the estate, where the floors gleamed and the walls were decorated like nothing dark had ever touched them. The contrast made my stomach

  • Alpha Vorthrane's Pet   Stirring the Fire

Rio’s POVI leaned casually against the wall as Elena, Ruby and Vesha approached, my posture relaxed, one foot slightly crossed over the other, as though I had not a single concern in the world.Tristan stood beside me, quieter now, though I could feel the shift in him.He knew this wouldn’t be simple. It never was with them.Their presence alone changed the air.Elena walked in the center, of course, always the center. Her gaze met mine first, cold, assessing, and utterly unimpressed.Ruby followed, her lips curved faintly as though she found this amusing already. Vesha remained the quiet one, her eyes sharp, observant, missing nothing.“Back so soon,” Elena said. Her voice was smooth but the edge beneath it was unmistakable.I smiled.“Dod you miss me?”Ruby let out a soft laugh.“I wouldn’t go that far” she said.“That's rather disappointing,” I murmured.Elena didn’t react.“You weren’t expected to return this early,” she continued.“I go where I please,” I replied lightly. Her ga

  • Alpha Vorthrane's Pet   Beneath Smiles

Rio’s POVI liked how everything in this estate moved with purpose… and fear. And more importantly I liked how it reacted to me.“Well, it seems I was missed not only by you, Tristan” I said lazily, adjusting the cuff of my sleeve as I walked,A maid walking past nearly stumbled when my gaze slid over her.Her cheeks flushed instantly, her head dipping, shoulders tightening then I smiled.“You should be careful. You might hurt yourself” I added, my voice smooth as silk. She murmured something I didn’t bother catching before hurrying away as Tristan chuckled beside me.“You haven’t changed” he said.“Why would I?” I replied lightly.Another pair of maids passed and this time, I didn’t just look, I paused, tilted my head slightly, let my gaze linger deliberately, slowly tracing from one to the other. The reaction was immediate. They started Blushing with quickened breaths, their eyes darting away.I leaned just a bit closer as they tried to pass.“You can relax, I’m not dangerous” I mu
