Chapter 3

Lisa

"We are under attack!!" That's what the bell indicated. I and Luke shared a knowing look, well technically my wolf and Luke.

I shifted back into human form and stood completely naked in front of Luke. His wide eyes on me made me realize the nude state I was in and I blushed red.

"Here, you should wear this!" He said handing his shirt to me. I didn't even notice when he removed his shirt well since I was busy drooling on him.

I shyly collected the shirt from him and put it on. It reached mid thigh for me and I tried to draw it to at least cover up my thighs.

"Come with me, we need to help the others!!" He said taking my hands in his and we both run straight to the pack house.

What we found really shocked us as there were many dead bodies on the floor. I was about to move closer to them when I got pulled by my mum.

"Baby, thank God you're alive, I’ve been looking for you all around." She said pulling me in for a hug.

"Mum!!" I said sobbing on her shoulders "Where's everyone??" I asked holding her hands..

"Come with me!" She replied leading me out of the pack house. I followed her, Luke not leaving my hands all along.

We followed her into a basement I know is built for emergency purposes. She pushed open the door and there, I saw the young children of our pack, the Luna and everyone is accounted for except for some warriors of the pack including dad and the alpha.

"Where's dad??" I asked mom. I'm hoping beyond hope that he's alright, he and the alpha.

"We're here baby girl!!" I heard Dad said from behind me. I released the breath I didn't know I was holding as I ran to hug him.

I threw myself into his arms not minding his bruises.

"Ouch pumpkin, you should take it easy!!" He said chuckling.

I could see Luke from the corner of my eyes go hug his mother then the alpha. I could see him telling them something then he glanced at my direction and smiled making me blush.

Then I could see the Luna sashayed towards us. On getting to us, she immediately pulled me in for a hug making me speechless.

"I always knew you're the one for him!" She said whispering in my ears. Then she turned to my mother and smiled" We were right Kierra, they are mated to each other!!" She squealed in excitement. Which made me wonder “are we really at war??" And I couldn't help but ask "Mom, aren't we at war??"

"Yes baby, we’re definitely at war with the Red moon pack but the Alpha and your father had already taken care of them!!" She answered proudly.

"Wow, that's cool mom, let's go back home!" I said taking a step when their next words stopped me in my tracks.

"Actually baby, we are moving to the alpha king's pack." Dad said.

"Why are we moving to the alpha king's pack??" I asked curiosity laced in my voice.

"The alpha king offered to help us and we decided that the only way to be safe from the Red moon pack is to join alliance with the alpha king pack!!" The alpha replied this time around.

"Isn't the Red moon pack under the alpha king??" I asked still confused.

"No they aren't baby." Dad replied "I know you are apprehensive baby but everything is going to be fine!" He said pecking my forehead.

I nodded because I know being apprehensive is not going to help at least I'll be with my family even if I can't celebrate the fact that I shifted and found my mate.

Present time

"We moved to the alpha King's pack the Silver crest pack. We were welcomed and everything went smoothly. I instantly became friends with the just mated Luna. She was the last of her kind.

I was wondering why the alpha king got his mate late and why she was a witch but no one knows what the moon goddess is thinking.

Two months after, Luke and I mated and I got pregnant with Tess two years after. Lucy the Luna had already had you by then. Since we were friends, I became your nanny. A year had pass and everyone had forgotten about the Red moon pack until one afternoon when they paid us a surprise visit.

They were too many even for the palace guards but we had to protect you because aside from you being the last descendant of the white coven witches, there's a prophecy that you and your mate will be the one to retain order to the supernatural world!" She finished.

Sylvia

I am now facing the window staring into the dark night. The quietness of the night makes the forest eerie but what I just heard makes everything feel more eerie.

"So, what you're saying is we are wolves as in the wolves you always mention in your stories??" I asked sounding bewildered.

"Yes Sylvia, Tess and I are wolves but you, you're not only a powerful wolf but the most powerful being in the supernatural world right now!!" She said patting me on the shoulder.

I didn't know when she got beside me but I sure do need the reassurance she's giving cause my life just changed from zero events to something more. "But how come I didn't notice any powers in me if at all I am what you call me??" I asked confused.

"Until you meet your mate, then you'll be able to unlock your powers!!".
