It takes me about an hour to work my way through all of the bags. Footsteps on the concrete floor draw my attention away from the empty cell. I’ve been trying to distract myself but there isn’t much to do down here except listen to Dutton complain about his wounds. “Low, you can’t just leave me in here!” I scream as the Pack Beta locks the cell door and starts to walk away from me; he completely ignores me as he walks out of my line of sight. I grab the cell doors with my hands and try to shake them but these are designed for shifters; I can practically feel the cold steel laughing at me as I try to make it move.
