Chapter 29: Annoying

After leaving Zeeb in the corridor, I bypassed my study room and headed straight for my own.

My mind just wasn't feeling right at all. It feels so scanty.

Entering my room, instead of scanning the space, my gaze remained fixed ahead. I gravitated toward the balcony, settling lazily into the chair and closing my eyes.

"Ugh, those annoying individuals," I muttered icily.

My frustration was directed at Alpha Ryker and his daughter. The audacity he had to present her as a potential Luna for me was bewildering.

Perhaps it's because I've been too accommodating lately.

As I reclined with my eyes shut, the last person I wanted to think about intruded into my mind.

It was Jane. Where could she be? Likely in her own room. Yet, inexplicably, I felt the impulse to seek her out, to immerse myself in her scent.

The image of her strikingly beautiful figure flashed through my thoughts, and before I knew it, I was lost in a reverie or I should say hallucination.
