FINALValerie’s POVEvan watches in horror as we circle one another. I mindlink everyone here to stay out of this fight. This is between me and her.She is the darkest dark witch there probably is judging from the way she looks. Her pale skin contrasts darkly with her inky hair, and her face is covered with dark veins. Something right out of a horror movie.She starts and throws her first wave of magic towards me, but I dodge it easily with a smirk on my face. Little does she know, I have learned everything I needed to know about her in the past three days I was recovering. The moon goddess was a lot of help too, and it seems she really wants this one dead. She is too far gone, that much I could tell.Irritation begins to mar her face although there wasn’t really much difference, as she tries to use her magic to get ahold of me but couldn’t. Evan stares at me perplexed but also hopeful I can win. I want to assure him but that will be saved for later. For now, she is my main concern.

Chapter 156Valerie's POV"Everything ready?" I asked and looked around the group. They all motion a form of yes or nod as we prepare to head out."Yes Alpha." They all reply and I nod."Let's head out!" I growled the command before they all walked out. I am the last to leave.Turning around, I smile at the sight of a smiling Grandma Iris. Because she has used her powers to much after healing me from internal injuries I got from Tyrone, as well as the reopened wound from my hind leg more than three days ago, she has started to her youthful look but not so much that it has turned her into an old hag. She is still as beautiful and blessed by the moon goddess. That I had realized after she had revealed to me what she had found in Tyrone's office.It turns out, after he arrived, Grandma Iris received a vision telling her that she must go to his office. Valerie’s POV“You b*tch!” Tyrone spits and immediately gets up from the floor. I look at him in confusion and pain. Pain from the wound which I see as I looked down, is now bleeding profusely. Just as I look up to give Tyrone a piece of my mind, I see his fist whoosh and land on my right cheek, forcing my head to turn and I taste blood. “You are going to regret that,” he growled, grabbing the back of my hair and dragging me out of the bathroom. I am soaking wet and blood is trickling down my legs. It doesn’t help that I am not fully healed, as he throws me onto the bed wet and naked.“Tyrone, what is this?” I ask looking up at him with wide eyes. He never treated me like this. Not even once. But the fire and jealousy in his eyes are immense, as he pins me onto the bed and held me by the throat.“You reek of him,” he snarls lowly in my ear. Tears form behind my eyes, as I stare back into his hatred-filled eyes.“T…Tyrone.” I breathed, but couldn’t speak properly with the air cut

Valerie’s POV:“Valerie!” he growls out and pushes past Grandma Iris, making her stumble back a little and she falls onto the chair. My brows furrow as I look at her but she raises her hand to signal me she is okay.Still. I turn to glare at Tyrone who is now sitting on the bed by my side. It seems he does not see me glaring at him or he chooses to ignore me because he grabs my hand, bringing it close to his chest.“Valerie, I heard you were hurt so I came back as soon as I could,” he says and my eyes soften. Tyrone probably didn’t mean to push Grandma Iris but it still bothers me. However, I choose to ignore it for the time being.I force a smile, “Tyrone. You shouldn’t have to. I’m fine,” I assure him.It was then I noticed Grandma Iris stood from her seat and she turned around, about to leave the room but I stopped her.“Iris?” She stops walking and slowly turns to look at me over her shoulder, then moves her gaze to Tyrone.“I won’t go anywhere dear. Valerie’s POVI awake groggily, unable to move my body and every time I try, pain electrifies me. I flinch and after a few more minutes trying to move a muscle in my body or even open my eyes, I give up.I am awake, but I cannot wake up as if I am trapped in my own body. How is that possible? I do not know. All I can remember is passing out after that rogue wolf dropped dead. I was hurting badly from my wound given to me by that wolf, who took a chunk out of my hind leg. Am I dead? The thought horrifies me but it doesn’t feel right either.I know I am not dead but I can’t say I am fully alive either. “She is awake. But she needs more strength. We have to help her.” I hear spoken somewhere beside me. That sounds like Grandma Iris but I can’t be sure.In a few moments I feel a warm sensation spread through me. It helps me relax, and ultimately fall back into a deep, dreamless sleep.After what felt like eons of feeling relaxed and asleep, I come to my senses. Thankfully, my eyes open

Chapter 152Evan’s POVI see Valerie’s wolf, Liana, drop to the ground with a thud and my heart stopped.“VALERIE!”I ran towards her wolf, and crouched down to examine if she had any fatal injuries that caused her to lose her consciousness.My eyes immediately spot a large wound on her hind leg. It is bleeding profusely and it looks like someone had torn a huge chunk of meat out of it.
