"Won't you become our new Alpha?"

It was silent when Raymond made that request. Ellie? Back in the Hermit Pack? As they Alpha?! Granted, the roll may be only temporary, but it was still quite the offer. Not only does it give her a place to stay again, but since this was an offer made by the advisors, even if the other people of the pack had something against it, they can’t overrule that, no matter how much they are against it.

As good as a chance as this was, though…
